Nicole Kidman surprised fans when she debuted an unusual accent during an interview at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday.
The n actress, 57, spoke to Vogue’s red carpet host La La Anthony about her custom black Balenciaga gown.
However, Nicole shocked viewers as she spoke with an international twang.
‘I wanted something tailor made for me and was inspired by those gorgeous dandies and the woman that honoured, supported and protected them,’ she explained.
At the end of the interview, Nicole displayed a bizarre accent once again as she thanked La La for the chat.
‘Thanks for having me and I look forward to dancing tonight,’ she said.

Nicole was spotted at the Charli XCX concert at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, pulling her long locks back into a ponytail as she embraced her grungier side.
She donned an all-black ensemble with lace detailing on a singlet which flaunted her cleavage, paired with loose fitting boyfriend jeans.
She wore her strawberry blonde locks tied back for the occasion and hid her famous visage behind dark sunglasses.
