Their vow renewal was splashed all over social media, so it’s no surprise that Brooklyn Beckham was a fixture on the set of his wife Nicola Peltz’s latest role.
The couple have faced their share of family drama thanks to a brewing feud with Brooklyn’s parents David and Victoria, and the tensions appeared to offer inspiration for the actress’s new part.
Nicola is starring as a provocative influencer who causes a rift between a mother and daughter in her new film Pretty Ugly, opposite 90s favourite Mary Stuart Masterson, and Too Much’s Jazzy De Lisser.
Sharing a string of on-set snaps from the film, Nicola appeared to embrace her role in the Erica Dunton thriller, as she appeared wearing a black bikini while submerged in a swimming pool.
Other images showed Brooklyn and Nicola packing on the PDA as he joined his wife on the set, leaning in to kiss her on the cheek.
The snaps showed Nicola clad in an eye-catching black crop top, before changing into revealing matching swimwear as she plunged into the pool for a tense scene.

Channeling her own work as an influencer and Instagram favourite, Nicola cut a mysterious figure, as her character grows to manipulate social media-obsessed Raelynn (De Lisser).
Nicola captioned her post: ‘I love you Jazzy – PRETTY UGLY – im so grateful to be able to have played roxy.’
Set in Winnabow, NC, Pretty Ugly follows Raelynn (Jazzy), a young woman obsessed with the seductive world of social media beauty, and her mother (Mary Stuart), who’s equally fixated on grisly true crime podcasts.
Their relationship unravels when a provocative make-up influencer (Nicola) returns to Winnabow from LA and all three women are confronted with not only a murder but also the real meaning of the American Dream.
Director Erica Dunton called the project ‘a movie for this moment, a character-driven murder mystery that highlights the depths to which the internet is changing the face of every town in America.’
Michelle Gomez, Andy Buckley, Cullen Moss, Paul Schneider, Edgar de Santiago, and Angela Wong Carbone will also star in the film.
Nicola herself is also acting as an executive producer for Bunny Films, alongside De Lisser, and Matthew Petersen and Gill Holland as co-producers.
While Nicola has recently become one of social media’s top influencers, she made her feature directorial debut in 2024 with Lola, a coming-of-age drama where she was also the writer and star.
She has also starred in Welcome to Chippendales, Holidate, Bates Motel, and Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Promoting his hot sauce brand Cloud 23, Brooklyn surprised his wife by heading to the set during production of the thriller

Brooklyn’s ever-presence alongside Nicola (pictured) on set won’t come as a surprise to some, given his growing feud with his parents David and Victoria in recent months
This role also marks a movie comeback of sorts for Mary Stuart, who is best known for her breakout roles in Fried Green Tomatoes and Benny & Joon, and also won fans’ hearts in cult classics like Some Kind of Wonderful and Bad Girls.
Mary’s emotional depth and girl-next-door charm made her a standout star in 1991’s Fried Green Tomatoes, which grossed over $119 million worldwide and earned two Oscar nominations.
Since her Hollywood heyday, Mary has set up her own film production company, but primarily focuses on TV roles, directing, and theatre.
Sharing the news of her casting, Mary wrote on Instagram: ‘I’m slow to post these things, but I am so proud to be a part of this film.
‘I had a (rather intense) ball down in Wilmington, NC with the most amazing crew and cast under the truly inspiring direction of Erica Dunton.’
Continuing, she said: ‘I will have more to say and share about this magical experience later on… you are not going to believe what my movie daughter [Jazzy] and her new friend [Nicola] get up to…’
Revealing her excitement, Nicola replied: ‘Mary you’re so incredible I’m so excited for this.’
Brooklyn’s ever-presence alongside Nicola on set won’t come as a surprise to some, given his growing feud with his parents David and Victoria in recent months.
In fact, none of the Beckham family were invited to Brooklyn and Nicola’s vow renewal, which was officiated by her billionaire father Nelson, and took place at his lavish Westchester estate.
Brooklyn’s parents David, 50, and Victoria, 51, and his brothers Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and sister Harper, 14, were nowhere in sight at the second wedding, while in contrast, Nicola’s family had key roles at the lavish event.
And in an additional blow for the Beckham family, Brooklyn reportedly opened up on his love for the Peltz family, as well as speaking ‘movingly’ of his wife, as he gave his speech in front of the 200 guests.
A source told The Mirror: ‘He spoke from the heart – and at the centre of his heart is Nicola who he loves very dearly, but also the Peltz family who have really stuck by his side. He wanted to recognise them all, and was determined to do them all justice.’
News of the ‘heartfelt tribute’ to billionaire Nelson Peltz, 83, and wife Claudia, 70, will no doubt add to the pain of the Beckham family amid their estrangement from Brooklyn, with it said that no such tribute was given for his own parents.
In addition to his immediate family, Brooklyn’s grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles were also absent and only found out about the wedding vow renewal by reading it online.

Inside spoiled lives of ultimate nepo babies Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz
It comes as Brooklyn is reportedly ‘heartbroken’ over the way his wife Nicola is being ‘painted as a viper’ within their ongoing family feud.
Billionaire heiress Nicola has previously been accused of ‘isolating’ Brooklyn from not only his family, but his friends too.
New sources allege Brooklyn is not being held from making his own decisions and is ‘devastated’ over the way his wife is being portrayed.
A source told The Mirror: ‘It’s so rooted in misogyny that all of the heat for his parents not being invited is on Nicola.
‘Everyone seems to forget that Brooklyn is an adult man and fully capable of speaking out. Nicola would have respected all that he chose.
‘It breaks Brooklyn’s heart to see his wife being painted as this vixen and viper.’
Insiders previously told Daily Mail that Brooklyn’s parents are concerned his wife Nicola holds disproportionate sway in her marriage to their son.
Brooklyn and Nicola’s vow renewal was a glamorous affair packed with family, fashion and friends earlier this month.
As more pictures of both the big day and the after-party come to light, it is becoming increasingly apparent that the festivities were fairly one-sided – with most of the guestlist comprising Brooklyn’s post-Nicola peers and pals.
The lack of Brooklyn’s side sparked widespread chat on social media, including comments from fans who likened their relationship to that of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – after the royal turned his back on his family and moved to the US.
It was recently claimed that Brooklyn has also cut ties with all of his celebrity pals from the UK, in favour of Nicola’s own inner circle.
Absent from the event were former members of Brooklyn’s entourage – including fellow nepobabies Rocco Richie and Gordon Ramsay’s brood, as well as Anais Gallagher.
It appears Brooklyn isn’t in contact with several of them anymore, as he no longer follows Anais, Rocco or Holly Ramsay on Instagram, and vice versa – despite many of them still following Brooklyn’s brothers.
A source told The Sun: ‘It seems like a real shutdown – Brooklyn has no contact with friends from his former life in the UK.
‘Rocco, Selena, the Ramsay kids – none of them have even liked the wedding pics after Nicola posted, let alone commented to congratulate them.
‘Things have gone very cold with his old friends – it’s like the marriage to Nicola meant he started a whole new life with new people around him.
‘It’s really sad but clearly people have sensed a shift in his life and priorities.’
