Jack Whitehall joked he is ready to shave the moustache off his face as he finished filming for his new film Night and Day.
The comedian, who reportedly got engaged earlier this month, has been sporting the additional facial hair as he transformed his look for the upcoming period drama.
Dressed in a brown tweed coat, shirt and tie and black hat, Jack looked worlds away from his usual stand up self.
Posing in a Night and Day brown baseball cap, the TV star pulled a sad face as he wrote: ‘That’s a wrap on Night and Day.
‘Had a blast filming this movie with such a fun group of actors talented actors and creators aka @logicofthebirds Virginia Woolf pack.’
He then joked: ‘Now get this thing off my face!!’

His latest project sees him star in a movie adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s classic novel of the same name.
The British comedian and actor has made a name for himself on TV but is now probably best known for appearing as a duo alongside his father.
As well as sitcoms and panel shows he’s also cracked America and appeared in big budget movies alongside the likes of Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt and Shailene Woodley.
And Jack is starring alongside a stellar cast for his latest film, including Lily Allen, Hayley Bennett, Sally Phillips, Jennifer Saunders and Timothy Spall.
Set at the turn of the 20th Century, the feminist author’s ‘unromantic comedy’ follows the lives and loves of Mary and her acquaintance, the female astronomer Katharine Hilbery, played by US actress Haley Bennett.
The story unfolds against the turbulent backdrop of the suffragette movement and of rapid advancements in technology.
Producer Christopher Figg previously said: ‘We’re excited to tell this story of a pioneering Edwardian astronomer reaching for the stars and balancing love with ambition.’
Meanwhile Jack looked unrecognisable earlier this week as he and his pals dressed as comedy character Ali G to watch the World Darts Championship at London’s Alexandra Palace on Sunday evening.

The funnyman donned a yellow PVC tracksuit, shades and fake beard for the boozy night out.
Taking to Instagram he shared a slew of snaps and at one point even sported a green wig, writing: ‘The darts. The greatest show on earth. Wish I still had the stamina for it. @officialpdc #welovethedarts’.
It comes after and girlfriend sparked speculation they are engaged after the model showed off a huge diamond ring at Winter Wonderland earlier this month.
Roxy, 33, who has been in a relationship with the comedian since 2020, wore the tear shaped diamond which is set on a silver band on her engagement finger.
The couple put on a loved-up display as they arrived at the festive event in Hyde Park with their 15-month-old daughter Elsie.
All eyes were on Roxy’s diamond sparkler as she snapped selfies with Jack and Elsie.
Jack and Roxy looked every inch the proud parents as they took their daughter on a merry-go-round and other fairground rides, before the comedian managed to win a cuddly toy on a game.
Roxy co-ordinated with her daughter in a cheetah print bomber jacket which she layered over a striped hoodie and light wash jeans with patchwork detailing.
