alert-–-new-$100k-job-will-pay-an-aussie to-drink-booze-and-travel-around-the-world:-here’s-how-you-can-applyAlert – New $100k job will pay an Aussie to drink booze and travel around the world: Here’s how you can apply

ns have the chance to earn $8,000 a month as part of a newly-created role which would see them travelling the world in search of the best hangover cure.

Alc-eze, the company behind an anti-hangover supplement, is hunting to fill its first-ever Chief Hangover Officer.

The job will pay a successful applicant $100,000 per year, pro rata – or $8,000 a month to travel the world and test ‘unique’ and ‘sometimes wild’ hangover remedies.

Bizarre hangover hacks and urban legends will be put to the test as the CHO travels to destinations including Sicily, Puerto Rico, Germany, Estonia, Thailand, Japan, Scotland and Bangkok. ‘

Alc-eze said the role was not for the ‘faint-hearted’ as some of the remedies included eating dried bull’s penis in Sicily or wearing vodka-soaked socks to bed in Estonia.

Co-founder of Alc-eze Anthony Taylor said the company believed it had the best hangover prevention supplement but was always looking to improve the product.

‘We believe, without a doubt, that we have the best hangover prevention supplement on the planet,’ Mr Taylor said.

‘But to ensure we stay on top, we are always looking at ways to improve the product or even identify new products altogether.

‘Our new Chief Hangover Officer will help us search for global trends that we can explore further with our scientific team to ensure our product keeps as many hangovers away as possible.

‘So whilst bull penis for breakfast might not be the answer, we’re leaving no stone unturned.’

Applicants must have experience in drinking alcoholic beverages, must be over 18 years old and have at least 12 months on their passport.

The successful applicant will have an ‘outgoing personality, love to travel and is across all the latest social trends’ as they will be documenting their experience.

The role is also aimed at someone comfortable in front of a camera, and who knows how to make the hacks they discover go viral on social media.

More than 700 Aussies have applied for the role, with the number of applications growing rapidly each day.

Sydney woman Grace Corkery is one of the hundreds of Aussies vying for the position.

The 23-year-old, who works as a digital media coordinator at an advertising agency, said the amount of travel in the role was the first thing that piqued her interest.

‘It was through word of mouth … someone I know works for the brand and thought I’d enjoy the opportunity,’ Ms Corkery told News.

‘Travel is a big focus of it. That is all paid for, and I think that makes it a really unique role. It’s like a once in lifetime opportunity.

‘$100k and that doesn’t even include all the travel, so the role is very appealing and for what you have to do that’s not a bad deal at all.’

The initial two-month package for the chosen candidate will include a $100K pro-rata salary, fully paid international travel, access to parties, a year’s supply of Alc-eze and a C-Suite title.

The new CHO also has the opportunity to earn a $20,000 bonus if they uncover a new secret ingredient that is added to the Alc-eze hangover product.

While some ns do not experience hangovers, the average Aussie has a staggering 39 hangovers a year – more than three a month – according to new research from Alc-eze.

The research also found 36 per cent of Aussies admitted to going to extreme lengths to cure their hangovers including wild food remedies and unconventional hacks.
