A Las Vegas single mother and her two young sons were killed in a horror crash after she crossed lanes and drove head-on into a semi-truck.
Malia Hoenshell, 29, from Henderson, was killed alongside her two sons, nine-year-old Zaiden and three-year-old Phoenix on March 20.
The tragedy took place around 1.45am as the family drove on US-93 near Apex and mile marker 59.
Hoenshell, who was driving a Hyundai Tuscon, was traveling northbound just before she crossed the southbound lane and came face to face with a 2017 Freightliner semi-truck, authorities said.
‘To bury one family member is heartbreaking but to bury three of our babies is almost unbearable,’ Kimberly Terry-Campbell, Hoenshell’s aunt said.

According to Fox 5, the mother-of-two had just started going to school part-time to pursue a career in the medical field.
Ellie Hoenshell, another family member, said that memories of the late mother ‘are just beautiful.’
‘We look at her memories, and we laugh and smile because her was just contagious. She’s just a beautiful soul, and we miss her a lot.’
Heartbroken family members have set up a GoFundMe page on behalf of the children and mother, and another one was created in memory of Zaiden by his father’s family.
The nine-year-old was remembered as a ‘spunky’ and ‘charming’ boy.

‘He challenged those around him in the best way possible and knew just what to say to make everyone around him laugh. He was a wonderful son, grandson, brother, and friend to so many,’ the page said.
Funds donated to the page are set to go toward Zaiden’s father David as the family has planned a ‘very small intimate’ service for the young boy.
‘He wants to celebrate Zaiden’s life with an amazing gathering with all the people and things he loved. He deserves all of that and more.’
Another family member, Linda Bama Smith, said that Phoenix was a ‘wild boy’ that was ‘quite the handful,’ but she loved him so much.
‘His memory will live forever in our hearts and souls. We know we’re going to see them again at some point, but he was an angel, they’re all angels now,’ Ellie said.
The Nevada Highway Patrol told DailyMail.com that the crash is still being investigated and that further information will be released once it is complete.
