Multimillionaire Bryan Johnson says he’s now free from a two-year-long lawsuit and his ex-fiancé has been ordered to pay him half a million dollars after filing a lawsuit suing him for $9 million.
Johnson, 45, said that Taryn Southern, 37, accused him of ‘all sorts of quote perverse and abusive behavior’ during their three-year relationship, which ended in 2019.
In court documents seen by DailyMail.com, the biohacker alleged that his former partner made an ‘extortionate demand that he pay her $9 million or else she would sue and disparage him publicly’.
Now, in a 16-minute video posted to YouTube – who made headlines for his quest to reverse his age – recalled the moment he found out his ex-fiancé was suing him.
‘[I] was in a state of paralysis I’ve never experienced before,’ the biotech millionaire said.

The lawsuit was first filed in 2021, with Southern claiming the father-of-three kicked her out of the home they shared in LA and reneged on their separation deal after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019.
Southern, a film director and tech artist, alleged unjust enrichment, false promise and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
However the millionaire said he was ‘so confused’ after reading the 13-page letter with the lawsuit and claimed he had always treated his former fiancé well.
‘This is a person whom I had once had the most beautiful relationship with and now she was unrecognizable to me,’ he said.
‘My accuser sent me a letter in September of 2020 where she praised my integrity she spoke of our shared love and emphasized the reciprocal care that we’d shown for each other,’ he added, flashing a copy on the screen.
The anti-aging millionaire said he was advised to settle so the situation remained private, and was told to ‘not take this into the public sphere because one’s reputation can be eternally tarnished.’
‘It’s very hard to come back from and it felt devastating to me, the accusations felt like an injustice,’ he explained in the video.
Johnson said after receiving the letter, he was at a loss as to what to do next – saying he felt a ‘firm conviction’ that he needed to ‘stand up’ for himself.

‘I needed to take this course and now two and a half years later it has finally wrapped up, but it has been devastating, it has been costly, it has been stressful,’ he said.
In the clip, Johnson had written out what his ex-fiancé accused him of doing, reading it to camera.
‘She threatened to make… public accusations about me unless I paid her $9 million in one week,’ he claims in the video.
He continued, reading from an A4 piece of paper: ‘Two days later a judge ordered her to pay me a half a million dollars for the fee.’
He then said there was insufficient evidence to support the claims, accusing the lawyers of trying to take advantage of ‘her vulnerabilities’ and ‘exploit’ his wealth and claimed they tried to make him ‘look like a monster.’
‘Global media ate it up,’ he said. ‘On March 31st 2023 after extensive motions depositions and discovery, the arbitrator dismissed all her causes of action that had been referred to arbitration and ordered that my accuser pay me a half a million dollars to reimburse attorney’s fees I’d been forced to spend defending my innocence.’
‘The ruling and award were confirmed by an active Superior Court judge on September 29th, 2023,’ he continued.
According to Johnson, the ‘most hurtful’ part was the way Southern spoke about their relationship in ways that were ‘unrecognizable’ to him.

He also spoke about Southern’s cancer diagnosis, disputing her claims that he had left her when she was sick.
‘I rearranged my life and worked beside her non-stop to beat it,’ she said. ‘We flew around the country together exploring clinical trials and meeting with doctors together, we conducted extensive research into additional therapies and tests.’
‘It was our shared omnipresent focus,’ he added, alleging that his ex-partner and her attorneys’ plan was to ‘inflict maximum pain and suffering’ so he would pay up privately.
‘[Now] I’m free I feel relief, it’s been two and a half years of hell,’ the biotech hacker gushed.
However, according to Johnson, Southern and her attorneys ‘miscalculated my tenaciousness and resolve and their strategy backfired inflicting collateral damage.’
Johnson added he established a trust for her medical needs which she is the sole beneficiary of and the only person with access to it.
He also posted to his Instagram, where he stated that Southern was ordered to pay him $584,199.16 for fees he spent in the lawsuit.
In legal documents seen by DailyMail.com – which are dated May 18, 2023 – it states that a judge ‘awarded Mr. Johnson $584,199.16 for the attorneys’ fees he incurred in arbitration’ – with the biohacker asking that the court enforce the ruling because his former fiancee had not yet paid him.
Johnson spends roughly $2 million every year on his Blueprint diet, which he claims has reversed his age
Years of biohacking initiative including fat transfers and a restrictive diet have transformed Johnson’s outward appearance
His doctors say he’s reduced his biological age by more than five years and now has the heart of a 37-year-old, the skin of a 28-year-old, and the lung capacity and fitness of an 18-year-old
The documentation also stated that he and his former fiancee were still engaged in a legal battle over four of the eight ’causes of action’ that she initially filed against him – however Southern filed to dismiss these claims earlier this month.
In the October 2021 complaint, which was obtained DailyMail.com, Southern accused the tech entrepreneur of breaching his ‘agreement for lifelong financial support,’ alleging she was forced to ‘devote all her time and attention to his personal and professional needs.’
The lawsuit also describes Johnson’s purported ‘pattern of manipulative and coercive’ behavior, claiming he persuaded her to let him sleep with other women even though she wanted monogamy.
Johnson, who has become famous for his $2 million-a-year anti-aging regimen, claims he has overcome the hurdle of living in a 46-year-old body, instead working to ensure it functions like an 18-year-old.
