Country music star Morgan Wallen was arrested last night after allegedly launching a chair from the sixth floor of a rooftop bar in Nashville.

The singer, 30, was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct after hurling the chair from the Chiefs Bar just after 10.45pm on Sunday.

Officers from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department allege the piece of furniture landed just three feet away from them.

Warren started laughing after dangerously hurling the chair from the rooftop bar, according to bystanders.

The Cowgirls crooner was booked shortly after 12.30am. Wallen’s bond was set at $15,250 and he was spotted being shielded by umbrellas as he was released from Davidson County jail around 3.30am.

‘At 10:53 pm Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct,’ his attorney Worrick Robinson said in a statement. ‘He is cooperating fully with authorities.’

The hitmaker is scheduled to perform at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville from May 2 to May 4 as part of his ‘One Night at a Time’ Tour.

Chiefs Bar is owned by fellow country artist Eric Church and was celebrating its grand opening over the weekend.

The arrest isn’t Wallen’s first trouble with the law.

In May 2020, he was detained over disorderly conduct at Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk bar in downtown Nashville.

He was also charged with DUI in 2016 but the case was dismissed.

Wallen’s latest album, One Thing at a Time, was the most popular album of 2023, while its lead single Last Night earned the highest number of streams of any record last year.

It comes after backlash to Wallen being caught on video using the n-word while hanging out with friends in Nashville.
