Osher Günsberg has confirmed that his two Channel 10 programs have no plans to return to screens anytime soon.
On Tuesday morning the TV host, 50, revealed that he plans to spend more time with his family while production on The Masked Singer is ceased.
‘It’s a really fun show but it’s like anything, things come and go,’ he told 2DAY FM’s Hughesy, Ed & Erin.
‘The show’s not coming back because I did a bad job, I can tell you that,’ he joked.
Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes, who sits on the judging panel for the show, added : ‘No, it’s resting. It’ll be back bigger and better than ever’.

Osher also confirmed that production on The Bachelors has been halted.
‘I tell you what, I haven’t cancelled our trip to Fiji, which is in the middle of the shooting window we normally have [for The Bachelors],’ he said.
The news comes just days after a report by TV Tonight revealed producers Warner Bros TV have quietly been ‘gauging interest from rival networks’ for the series.

The singing guessing game, which was hosted by Osher, is understood to be expensive to produce due to the elaborate costumes, high production quality and international talent required to put on the show.
This, coupled with a tough advertising market, has reportedly brought the viability of the franchise into question for Ten.
Further, The Bachelors and its various spinoffs – also hosted by Günsberg – have not been given dates for 2024 despite being announced at the annual Upfronts.
When contacted by Daily Mail for comment, a spokesperson for Ten said: ‘We are currently confirming our program schedule for the second half of the year, with announcements being made soon.’
Osher also confirmed that production on the Bachelor has been suspended: ‘I tell you what, I haven’t cancelled our trip to Fiji, which is in the middle of the shooting window we normally have (for The Bachelor),’ he said
