Shocking footage shows two customers aggressively trash the McDonald’s drive-thru after spitting at the so-called ‘rude’ employee, over a dispute regarding a refund.
The video, shared by Chicago Critter on Instagram, shows a verbal altercation from behind the counter, before the raging tantrum began at the McDonald’s on Central and Roosevelt.
At the start of the video, one customer is heard demanding a refund. The employee replied, ‘We are gonna give you a refund but that’s no reason to spit on anybody.’
‘He spit on her because she was rude,’ the woman yelled back.
The customer then began to threaten the restaurant worker, asking if she wanted to ‘come outside,’ insinuating an invitation to engage in a physical fight.

The employee replied, ‘No ma’am – I’m 30-years-old – I’m not about to fight.’
Once the customers received their refund, a man takes his drink, and violently throws it across the restaurant in the direction of the employee filming.
He then reaches behind the counter in a violent fury and begins throwing any object in reach.
The employee who is filming the incident tells the man she’s recording as he continues to hurl items at her.
The two then walked off, leaving the McDonalds in a shambles.
The caption reads, ”Just moments after a customer spat at a female employee because she was ‘rude’ this person proceeded to trash the drive-through area at McDonald’s, even though the restaurant’s staff had agreed to provide a refund and gave back their money as seen on the video.’

While dozens of viewers expressed outrage with the abhorrent behavior captured on camera, many said they were not surprised by it.
‘Just another day in Chicago,’ one user commented.
‘This is how you should behave at the workers? Jail time,’ another user wrote.
‘Once upon a time an outburst like this, so out of proportion, dangerous, and fraught with consequences, would give a mindful person pause. Now it’s regarded as “righteous” and “reasonable” retribution for all the slights, actual and perceived. Until it happens to them,’ a third user said.
It’s unclear if the police have identified or charged the two perpetrators.
Just last month, a massive brawl broke out inside a Toppers Pizza joint, which involved four employees trying to restrain one man by hitting him repeatedly and grabbing him.
In the video, a man can be seen tussling with one of the employees of the unknown store.
As the two distance themselves, the employee swings a punch at the man who dodges it and immediately returns with a volley of wild punches.
The man moves forward and knocks the employee to the ground as two other employees, including a female grab the man.

The employee who was originally knocked over manages to get back to his feet as the female employee grabs him.
As he starts to fight back, the female employee can be heard saying: ‘Don’t f***ing touch me.’
She then starts clawing at the man’s hair and face, before the man again rushes at the employee who initially threw the punch.
He again throws punches at the employee, before three workers then clambering onto the man and crowd him – ripping his t-shirt in the process.
After several workers back off of the man, he continues to grapple with just one of the employees.
In an attempt to get the man to stop, the employee holds the rear of his shirt and rips it further.
Police said the fight was eventually broken up and only minor injuries were reported.
