A man in Las Vegas lunged at a suspect, who was charged with kidnapping and sexually assaulting a teenager, outside of a courtroom.
Yousuf Azami, 59, stands accused a teenage girl in his home in September and was in Las Vegas Justice Court for a preliminary hearing over kidnapping, lewdness and sex assault charges on Tuesday.
Surveillance footage, obtained by 8 News Now, caught the moment a man, who was connected with the alleged victim, walked up to Azami and punched him to the ground.
It shows several people rushing towards the two men fighting and trying to break it up. Glenn Cromwell Jr. was identified as the man who attacked Azami and he was arrested and charged with battery.
The incident occurred in the same court where a felon jumped a table and viciously attacked a judge earlier in January.

Video from the incident shows Azami standing up and walking along the corridor of the courtroom before Cromwell gets up and follows him.
Cromwell, dressed in a grey tracksuit, briefly stops alongside the suspect before punching Azami in the face.
He then repeatedly punches the suspect who has fallen to the floor before others, including a police officer, rush to break it up.
The pair were then separated and Cromwell was arrested and charged with battery.
Azami, an actor born in Afghanistan, is accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl who told police she got into his car before he drove her to his home and raped her.
The young girl, who was 14 or 15 at the time of the alleged attack, told police she was searching to ‘get something to smoke and eat’ when she saw Azami in a marijuana dispensary parking lot.
He then drove her back to his apartment, according to police.

‘Azami was on the couch for a while on his phone and then came to lay with her on the bed,’ police said.
‘[The teenager] had just started to fall asleep when Azami lay behind her. She stated she felt his pelvis “grinding” against her and he was not wearing any clothes.’
She had asked him to stop, according to police, and took a shower before putting on a piece of Azami’s clothing and ran out of his apartment.
The young girl then went to the Mirage Hotel where ‘she met a man who was picking up his wife’.
She told him ‘she had been kidnapped and raped and needed police’.

It comes after Deobra Redden, 30, attacked Clark County District Judge Mary Kay Holthus in the same court on January 3.
He said ‘nah f*** that b**ch’ as he launched himself at her after she rejected his pleas for more probation. He also attacked the court marshal – who needed 25 stitches as a result.
Redden later appeared in court to resume his sentencing, wearing shackles, a spit mask on his face and orange mitts on his hands, where he was sentenced to 19 to 48 months for a battery felony charge.
He was then charged with attempted murder for launching himself at Holthus. The charge was enhanced due to the victim’s age, as Holthus is over 60-years-old.
