This is the moment teenage yobs jumped on a police car and shouted ‘f*** the feds’ as chaos erupted at a trainers launch in central London.
Shocking videos show huge crowds swarming the patrol vehicle on Carnaby Street in Soho, before one teen jumps on the bonnet.
Meanwhile, other yobs can be seen next to the open doors of the police car as objects are seemingly thrown out of it.
Separate clips show dozens of youngsters gathering at a crossroads and lobbing what appear to be trainers in the air.
A boy under the age of 16 was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle, criminal damage of a motor vehicle and affray, police have said.
It is believed the yobs gathered in Soho on Saturday afternoon after a ‘marketing stunt’ for trainers was advertised online.
A Section 35 Dispersal Order is currently in place across the borough of Westminster and will remain in force until midnight tonight, police have said.
The area has now been cleared but police patrols are continuing to provide ‘reassurance to the public’.
The full statement from the Met said: ‘Police were called at 12.09pm on Saturday, February, 22 following reports of a large crowd gathering in Soho in relation to an apparent marketing stunt that had been advertised online.
‘Officers attended the location and a Section 35 Dispersal Order for the borough of Westminster was put in place until 23:59hrs tonight.
‘During the incident some of the crowd caused damage to an unattended police vehicle and a boy under the age of 16 was arrested for theft from a motor vehicle, criminal damage of a motor vehicle and affray. The investigation into this is ongoing.
