One TikTok user said: ‘So there’s an age on movies and when you should stop watching, yeah, no, love the Harry Potter series’.
Another wrote: ‘Why do we have to give up things we love just because we grow up? Some of us aren’t done having fun yet.’
Another user said: ‘I just had a Harry Potter marathon and I’m 30-years-old so NO.’
One user added: ‘You can never be too old for Harry Potter. I just started reading Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone which is amazing. People need a fantasy world to correlate to, to escape from the real world sometimes.’
The Harry Potter films spanned eight movies, with the first airing on November 16 2001 and the last one airing on July 15 2011.
A TV reboot is in the works at HBO Max and is expected to hit screens in 2026.
