A fundraiser established to help the family of a teenage motocross star who was killed in a tragic stabbing has soared past its target in just hours.
Seb O’Halloran was allegedly stabbed outside a home in Limpidi Drive, Mildura, around 540km north-west of Melbourne, on Saturday about 1.05am.
Tributes continue to flow for the 18-year old, who was known for his fearless dirt bike riding and loyal friendships within the Mildura community.

A GoFundMe page has already climbed to more than $23,000 just hours after going live.
The fundraiser remains open despite passing its intended $20,000 target as shocked Australians dig deep to help the beloved teenager’s heartbroken family.
‘Seb was a dearly loved son, brother, grandson & mate. Anyone who knew him loved his personality, cheeky ways, his passion for motocross, hard work ethic & love for his family & friends,’ the fundraiser states.
‘Seb’s passing has shocked his loved ones and our community alike and is something we’re still trying to process.’
Victoria Police homicide squad detectives arrested a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man following Seb’s death and later charged the girl with his murder.
‘The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined but [the] parties involved are known to each other,’ police said in a statement.
It remains unclear how Seb became involved in the deadly altercation.
Paramedics had rushed to the scene, but were unable to save him.
Early reports indicated Seb may have intervened in an argument between the pair.

The girl faced a childrens’ court hearing via videolink on Sunday afternoon.
The court heard it was her first time in custody and that she needed to be seen by a custody nurse for cuts and bruises to her body.
CCTV footage and DNA samples will form part of the case against the teen, the Herald Sun reported.
The young girl sat with her arms crossed and responded ‘no’ when asked if she had any questions about the court proceedings.
She was remanded in custody until her next court date on November 9.
A friend of Seb’s told the newspaper Seb had been at a Mildura night spot with mates before he suddenly left.
‘He had to leave to do something and I was meant to go with him but decided I would stay at the club and wait for him,’ he said.
‘He told me he would be back for me and a few others so I stayed back with the other boys.
‘I still sit here now waiting for him to come back to me like he said.’
Seb O’Halloran had reportedly tried to step in to stop a fight when he was stabbed
Seb had been a fearless motocross rider, who had ridden in the Hattah Desert Race.
The rider’s social media pages were awash with photographs of him tearing up dirt tracks across the country.
Tributes flowed on Monday as the shocked Mildura community comes to terms with another young life lost.
‘My world, my brother, my best mate, my guardian angel. I love you more than anything the universe could have to offer,’ mate Damon Burke posted online.
Des O’Halloran said Seb’s family could not understand how the tragedy could happen.
‘We are all shocked and saddened by his tragic passing. Only 18 years old and his whole life ahead of him, we will never understand why this has happened … just horrendous,’ he stated.
