Megyn Kelly has slammed Meghan Markle after she labeled herself a feminist on her newly launched website.

Kelly, who was joined on the show by DailyMail.com columnist Maureen Callahan, hit back at the Duchess of Sussex over the remarks on the couple’s new website.

Sussex.com is minimalistic by design and features a large photograph of the couple on the home page, as well an about page that offers an insight on the couple.

The Duchess of Sussex’s profile starts: ‘Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex is a feminist and champion of human rights and gender equity.

‘Her lifelong advocacy for women and girls remains a constant thread in her humanitarian and business ventures.’

Hitting back at this, Kelly said: ‘The amount of staff she has chased out, all women. Her tantrums, her tirades.

‘How is that in anyway a feminist trying to lift up the young women? She wants to us believe that she would never and she only lifts up the young women.’

Callahan agreed with Kelly, saying, ‘If you are such a feminist what about showing reverence and true appreciation for the Queen who gave her life.

‘She didn’t ask for it, she was born into it, she took it with the utmost seriousness. Instead, we got that deep mocking curtesy on the Netflix special that just oozed contempt and ridicule. She’s not a feminist.’

The biography continues to refer to her advocacy work, her career in the entertainment industry as a lead role in the TV series ‘Suits.’

It also includes mentions of her being a NY Times bestselling author of children’s book ‘The Bench’ and ‘Together: Our Community Kitchen.’

Sources have warned that their use of the title and their royal crest for what appeared to be commercial purposes could provoke complaints from the palace.

One said: ‘They are going to have real trouble with the use of Sussex. It is a royal title and if there is any hint of commercialism about this it will be shut down. It’s just staggering they cannot see how gauche it is.

However, a source close to the couple said last night: ‘Prince Harry and Meghan are the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. That is a fact. It is their surname and family name.’

The launch of the website fueled speculation that they are trying to reinvigorate their media careers.

It has also been claimed that the couple did not consult palace officials about using their Sussex titles on the site.

The Daily Mirror reported that the couple hadn’t reached out the palace for confirmation that they could use the titles.

The couple stayed at a mansion named Mille Fleurs on Vancouver Island in the  aftermath of Megxit in January 2020 before relocating to California as the Covid-19 pandemic hit.

Since officially leaving the Royal Family and moving to California in 2020, the Duke and Duchess have pursued a number of different avenues to bring in revenue.

This includes Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare which he created as part of a $20million deal with Penguin Books.

The couple also teamed up with Netflix to produce the docu-series called Harry And Meghan, with the streaming giant reportedly paying the pair $100 million for the six-episode series.
