The 2024 Golden Guitar Awards kicked off in Tamworth on Saturday night. 

Among the proud winners was Fanny Lumsden who took home the statuette for Alt-Country Album of the Year for Hey Dawn. 

Fanny made a spirited appearance on the red carpet, larking about as she posed with her award while catching the eye in a bright, multicoloured frock. 

Also victorious on the night was Kaylee Bell who walked home with the award for Female Artist of the Year. 

The singer-songwriter made a chic appearance in a white blazer with red piping and matching shorts, posing proudly with her prize.

Other winners on the night included The Wolfe Brothers who were awarded the Toyota Album of the Year with Livin’ The Dream. 

Song of the Year was awarded to Felicity Urquhart & Josh Cunningham for their track Size Up.

The pair additionally walked away with Single of the Year for the same track. 

Contemporary Country Album of the Year ended up in the hands of Brad Cox for his record Acres. 

The singer-songwriter from Jindabyne, New South Wales also scored Male Artist of the Year.
