Married At First Sight stars Tori Adams and Jack Dunkley got matching tattoos in Monday night’s episode after the infamous ‘muzzle’ drama.

The couple were confronted by the experts during Sunday’s commitment ceremony over Jack, 34, saying other grooms could sleep with Tori, 27, during ‘couple swap’ week and telling Jono to put a ‘muzzle’ on his wife Lauren.

Tori admitted for the first time Jack’s remark had made her feel ‘physically sick’ after her steadfast support of him at the tense dinner party, where he was accused of sexism.

However, the couple appeared to once again have overcome the drama as they took the very bold step of getting matching tattoos during Monday’s episode.

Just hours after the tense confrontation, the couple were seen smiling and holding hands as they headed to the tattoo parlour to make a very permanent declaration.

Of the inking, Tori said: ‘I just think it will be like a bit of a f**k you to everyone,’ referring to the criticism they have received as a couple due to Jack’s behaviour.

Tori insisted Jack’s remark – which he insisted was a joke – about letting other grooms sleep with her because he wasn’t ‘sexually attracted to her’ had upset her, but vowed to move on.

She said: ‘Don’t get me wrong, the comment was woeful, but you can’t rewind life, so let’s move on. We are past arguments now.’

‘Tattoos are for life and they’re a statement,’ Tori said as they both decided to get matching tattoos of a devil cherub holding a love heart.

Jack – who got the inking on his thigh – said: ‘If anyone is questioning our connection and how we feel about each other, I think this will help answer that as well.’

‘That tattoo will just be a constant reminder of one another,’ Tori said to camera as she got the matching design on her arm.

Of their dramatic time on the show so far, Tori said: ‘Every s**t show that Jack and I are a part of just makes us stronger. I feel like it’s going to be OK.’

However, later in the episode, Jack was grilled by Tori’s best friend Lea over his ‘muzzle’ remark.

She said she ‘highly doubted’ his apology to Lauren was genuine.

Lea told Jack: ‘The muzzle comment? We need to unpack it, we need to unpack it.’

Defending the controversial outburst – which he said wasn’t his ‘finest’ moment – Jack said: ‘[Lauren] was questioning our relationship and I’m really protective so I snapped and said “put a muzzle on her”.

‘At the end of the day, I’m going to defend my family and my territory to the wit’s end.’

In response, Lea simply said ‘wow OK’, before awkwardly laughing as she appeared very unconvinced by his attitude.

To camera, she said: ‘It’s kind of disgusting that he would say that. Love that he apologised, hope it was genuine, but I highly doubt that.’

Previously breaking his silence on the ‘muzzle’ remark, Jack admitted that he felt ‘instant regret’ following the vile insult.

‘I was disgusted obviously, at that point in time I was a bit of a broken man and everyone has breaking point,’ he told 9Entertainment.

‘To Lauren’s credit she kept on baiting and she got me there.’

However, Jack revealed he had to ‘stand up’ on behalf of his and bride Tori after their relationship was in the firing line.

‘I was pretty ashamed,’ he said, revealing that he’d apologised to Lauren after the act.
