Shannon Adams has raised eyebrows with his latest social media post, in which he went on a bizarre rant about ‘not needing to sell naked photos’ to make ends meet.

The former Married At First Sight groom, 32, shared a shirtless selfie on his Instagram Stories, showcasing his chiselled abs and tongue-in-cheek humour.

Kneeling on a bed in black shorts, Shannon struck a provocative pose while holding his phone, which was covered with a bright red case.

He captioned the image with, ‘Didn’t even need to sell one #d**kpic. Regular #MAFS thing,’ accompanied by the hashtag #MakeNudesFreeAgain.

While his post appeared to be a light-hearted jab at the stereotype of reality TV stars turning to adult content platforms for income, fans were left scratching their heads at his odd statement.

Many speculated it was a subtle dig at his past co-stars, some of whom have famously embraced platforms like OnlyFans post-show, including his partner Caitlin McConville.

Shannon, who was labelled one of the more controversial grooms during his stint on MAFS, is no stranger to public scrutiny.

Since leaving the show, he has taken an unconventional route, choosing to maintain a low profile as an Uber driver while dabbling in cryptocurrency investments.

Despite his newfound ventures, Shannon’s Instagram remains a platform where he unabashedly shares his unfiltered thoughts and moments from his life.

Since his departure from the show, Shannon has kept relatively quiet about his personal life.

However, his occasional social media outbursts — often featuring fitness snaps and quirky captions — ensure he remains in the public eye.

Back in June, Adams issued a desperate plea to both Hugh Jackman and Marvel Studios to consider him as the next Wolverine actor.

Shannon sported a cheeky grin in the eye-popping snap, as he showcased his gym-toned torso to the camera, which captured his muscular frame and throbbing veins.

The picture was reminiscent of Hugh Jackman’s iconic role as superhero Wolverine, and Adams captioned the photo with some telling words.

‘#KeepWolverinen, @hughjackman @marvelstudios,’ his post read.

Unfortunately for Shannon, he may have to wait some time for Jackman to retire the Wolverine role, after he returned as the character for the the 2024 blockbuster Deadpool & Wolverine.

Jackman previously said he was done with playing James ‘Logan’ Howlett after 2017’s Logan, even after multiple pleas from Ryan, but eventually decided to return for the third Deadpool instalment because it felt right in his gut.

He first played the role in the 2000 blockbuster X-Men, and has returned for several sequels and spin-offs.
