Married At First Sight’s Jayden Eynaud has shut down fellow groom Timothy Smith’s ‘ridiculous’ claims that he and his bride Eden Harper made a secret pact to stay on the show for fame.

Speaking exclusively with Daily Mail , the 26-year-old boxer addressed claims that the on-screen lovebirds had agreed to stay on the Channel Nine experiment up until Final Vows.

‘I don’t know where these claims have come from, but that’s a load of crap,’ the professional boxer said on Tuesday.

‘What you see on TV with me and Eden is exactly what you get.’

It comes after Melbourne businessman Timothy, 51, blasted the athlete during a candid interview with Daily Mail and labelled his relationship with Eden ‘fake’.

‘Jayden and Eden are fake. Completely fake. I don’t buy it,’ he sensationally declared.

‘I didn’t buy it from the day I met him. I didn’t buy anything about Jayden.

‘I think the relationship was fake then, and I think it’s fake now. I think he’s no different than his brother,’ he continued, referring to Jayden’s sibling Mitch who appeared on the Channel Nine series on season 9.

It comes after Jayden accused Timothy of not putting in any effort with his bride Lucinda Light at a recent Dinner Party episode, kicking off a fierce row which ended in Timothy slamming his fist on the table.

Amid the tension, Timothy made his feelings of Jayden very clear as he launched an attack on the man-bun wearing groom.

‘If we had a roll of duct tape, the show would’ve gone a lot better,’ Timothy said of Jayden.

‘I just think Jayden should just close his mouth and let the men talk,’ he continued.

Three couples had secret pact to stay until end

Daily Mail revealed that three popular MAFS couples had a ‘secret pact’ to make it to Final Vows, despite a lack of genuine connection off-camera.

Despite their on-screen chemistry, insiders have sensationally claimed three relationships were far from perfect behind the scenes.

A source close to the production disclosed to Daily Mail that the couples rarely spent time together when not required by the show’s filming schedule.

‘Lauren and Jono’s relationship was similarly tumultuous, with the two barely spending any time together on weekends, Tim and Sara were also constantly at odds,’ the insider shared.

‘Despite forming a strong bond, Lucinda and Timothy struggled with a lack of physical attraction.’

One of the arrangements came to light after an intense confrontation at one of the show’s dinner parties.

One groom, reportedly fed up, openly admitted to their secret pact, leaving fellow cast members and the experts surprised with his admission.

Married At First Sight continues on Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine.
