Married At First Sight star Tracey Jewel shocked her fans on Friday by providing an alarming health update.
The 40-year-old businesswoman posted a photo to Instagram capturing her lying in a hospital bed, revealing she had been readmitted after being diagnosed with a tumour last year.
Jewel looks downcast in the picture as the camera captures the array of medical equipment she had been hooked up to.
She captioned the image with some hopeful words.
‘Been back in hospital. Can’t wait to get back to my old self soon,’ she wrote
Many of Jewel’s reality star friends were quick to send their well wishes.

‘Sending love and strength to you, gorgeous woman,’ wrote MAFS relationship expert Mel Schilling and series veteran Nadia Stamp added: ‘Get well darling’.
In November, Jewel revealed on social media she had been hospitalised for a tumour and had to have her salivary gland removed.
The author shared two pictures of herself on social media, in which she was seen with a Band-Aid on her neck and a ventilator over her nose and mouth.

The mother-of-two added she hadn’t been able to fully share her health journey as the doctors were still conducting tests.
‘I did lose a crazy 12 kilos in less than a month and ended up in hospital with pneumonia and now I’m undergoing biopsy’s and testing which I’m waiting for the results,’ she explained.
It comes as last year the MAFS alum shared heartbreaking news that she was quietly battling depression and anxiety.

Tracey said she hid her struggle as she threw herself into work and raising her son Frankie, two, and ten-year-old daughter Grace.
Posting her experience to Instagram, the former Married At First Sight star went on to say she was ready to turn a new leaf and begin a journey of self-care.
Thankfully, there appeared to be a happy ending in sight for the self care-coach as she assured her followers she is ‘rebuilding slowly but surely’.
Tracey welcomed her son Frankie in March 2021 with her high school sweetheart Constable – she also shares her daughter Grace with her ex-husband Jacob Anthonisz.
