And fan favourites Lucinda Light, 43, and Timothy Smith, 51, experienced a dramatic breakthrough in their relationship on Wednesday night.

During the dinner party, the group and expert team noticed how well the pair appeared to be doing, with even rival Tori admitting ‘I don’t have a lot of time for you tonight but I will be the bigger person and say – you look closer.’ 

Timothy divulged that something changed during the retreat and Lucinda helped him break down his walls. 

‘I am loving the unraveling of this gorgeous creature, he is such a gorgeous man,’ Lucinda announced  – before an intimate moment shocked the whole table.

Lucinda’s kind words prompted Timothy to lean in for a surprise kiss – leading to cheers from around the shocked table. 

‘I literally wanted to jump the table and kiss them both … it was amazing ‘ a shocked Eden said. 

Tristan excitedly exclaimed ‘That’s a step, if anything that’s a leap for those old dogs, I am so happy for them, what a comeback.’

‘It shocked me a bit, but it was divine, utterly divine, anything that comes from Tim feels really true at this point,’ Lucinda said of the heartwarming moment.

But suddenly, Timothy’s mood changed and he excused himself from the table.

The groom soon came to the conclusion that he’s been wasting his time being angry and closed off on the experiment instead of looking for love.
