Margot Robbie put on a very busty display as she joined Cate Blanchett and Rebel Wilson on the star-studded red carpet at the 2024 AACTA Awards in the Gold Coast on Saturday.

The Hollywood A-listers pulled out all the stops as they arrived at HOTA (Home of the Arts) for the ‘Oscars of ‘, which recognises the country’s biggest names with a string of prestigious awards.

The glitzy event is being hosted on the Gold Coast for the first time ever after they wrestled the event away from Sydney in a three-year deal.

For the big night, Margot, 33, showed off her incredible figure in a dazzling off-the-shoulder glittering gown with a bustier-style cinched waist and plunging neckline.

The Barbie star – who is set to receive the AACTA Trailblazer Award at the ceremony – gave herself a few extra inches in a pair of heels as she strutted her stuff.

Lighting up, Margot – who grew up in Dalby – exclaimed: ‘I’m gonna keep this forever!’ 

Meanwhile, Cate, 54 – who is nominated for Best Lead Actress for The New Boy – brought the glamour in a one-shouldered black jumpsuit with a gold satin bodice.

She gave herself a few extra inches in a pair of pointed black heels and let her outfit do all the talking as she kept her accessories minimal.

Her film The New Boy, directed by Warwick Thornton, has already picked up Best Cinematography and Best Production Design in film in early winners revealed ahead of the ceremony, and is up for Best Film. 

Rebel – who is co-hosting the awards ceremony with Harry Connick Jr – made sure to capture attention in a very voluminous ensemble as she stormed the red carpet with her fiancée Ramona Agruma.

His beloved daughters spoke exclusively to Daily Mail on the red carpet ahead of the awards ceremony about how they are enjoying living Down Under.

Harry, his wife Jill and their daughters all relocated to for his stint as a judge on  Idol a year ago, and are all loving living in the country.

When asked how they were enjoying , Sarah Kate gushed: ‘We’re, we’re so happy to be here and, it’s an amazing country.’

Charlotte – who is a drama student in – added: ‘We’re all kind of doing our own thing right now. We all started off in Sydney and then Kate lived in Byron Bay for a little bit.

A whole array of awards were already handed out on Thursday ahead of the main red carpet ceremony, with the biggest winners set to be announced at Saturday’s event.

Charlie Pickering is up for Best Comedy Performer for The Weekly, and spoke exclusively to Daily Mail ahead of the ceremony, admitting he wasn’t ‘nervous’ about the awards.

He said: ‘I’m feeling great. I am not nervous. It’s not cos I think I’ll win. It’s because I’m pretty sure I’m not going to. So, I’m just gonna sit back, relax and enjoy the show tonight.’

She accessorised her statement ensemble with a pair of chunky gold earrings as she posed for the cameras, showing off her dewy make-up palette. 

Angela Bishop, 56, put on a very leggy display in a bold leopard print dress with a daring side split, which she styled with huge platform metallic gold heels.

With some early winners already having been announced ahead of the ceremony, internationally acclaimed horror movie Talk to Me and hit Amazon series The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart have already dominated the awards.

Danny and Michael Philippou’s Talk to Me cleaned up in the film category on Thursday, with their smash hit indie film taking out Best Editing, Best Original Score, Best Screenplay, Best Sound, and Best Hair and Makeup. 

Meanwhile, The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart also won a slew of awards for the television category.

The Amazon series, based on the hit novel of the same name and starring movie star legend Sigourney Weaver, picked up Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, and Best Sound. 

Amazon’s black comedy crime series Deadloch also collected some gongs, with Best Casting, Best Editing, and Best Original Score in the television category.

Even more winners will be announced at Saturday’s main event, with prestigious gongs including Best Drama Series, Best Mini Series, Best Film and the Best Lead Actress/Actor in a Drama yet to be handed out.

Nominees for Best Film include Of An Age, Shayda, Sweet As, Talk to Me, The New Boy, and The Royal Hotel. 

Cate Blanchett is up for Best Leading Actress for The New Boy, where she is nominated with Julia Garner, Sarah Snook, Zar Amir Ebrahimi and Shantae Barnes-Cowan.

Up for Best Leading Actor are Elias Anton, Simon Baker, Thom Green, Phoenix Raei, Aswan Reid and Osamah Sami.

In the television category, ABC’s popular drama The Newsreader led the field with an astounding 15 nominations.

Colin From Accounts and Deadloch, have both secured ten nominations each, including Best Narrative Comedy Series.

Patrick Brammall, Harriet Dyer, Helen Thomson, Kate Box, Nina Oyama, Kitty Flanagan, Julia Zemiro, and Celeste Barber have been nominated for the newly introduced award for Best Acting in a Comedy.
