A newlywed on her honeymoon has drowned in the water at one of ‘s most famous beaches.
The woman, 32, was pulled from the water by bystanders at Shelly Beach in Manly, on Sydney’s northern beaches, just before 1pm on Wednesday.
NSW Ambulance were called to the scene and attempted to treat the woman, but she could not be revived.
It is understood she travelled to from overseas.
At least ten police cars were spotted at the scene along with a rescue helicopter.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
