A man has been charged with the murder of a ‘devoted’ mother and Avon beauty seller, who was tragically stabbed to death ‘in front of her young children’.
Obert Moyo, 45, has been charged with the murder of Perseverance Ncube, 35, after she was stabbed in her property in Salford, Greater Manchester.
At around 2.40am on November 10, officers were called reports of a woman who had been found with serious injuries on Dukesgate Grove in Little Hulton, Worsley.
They saw Miss Ncube, who was well known in the area because she previously sold beauty products for Avon, being chased out of her semi-detached home.
Church-goer Perseverance – who was found with a single stab injury to the chest – was taken to hospital where she sadly died as a result of her injuries.

in a tribute to the businesswoman, Perseverance’s family described her as ‘loving and devoted mother of two’.
In the weeks leading up to the attack, neighbours had said the devoted mother had told them she was worried a man had been hanging around her property.
Neighbour Kealey Pinkey, 52, said: ‘The woman came running out of her house in just her underwear with a man chasing her.
‘Her two children were with her and witnessed what happened, which is awful. I know one of the woman’s neighbours went over to help after she collapsed in the road.
‘Apparently, the little boy was lying next to her on the floor.’
