The family of Hallmark Channel star Mamie Laverock shared a new photo of her amid her recovery process after falling from a fifth-floor balcony.
In a Facebook post on Friday, the 19-year-old actress’ hand is shown hooked up to an IV and holding a small teddy bear as she lay in a hospital bed.
The When Calls The Heart star is wearing bright red nail polish and a blue-and-white hospital gown in the close-up snap.
This comes after Mamie’s mother Nicole Compton shared a series of images on Facebook with the caption: ‘Flashback Friday.’
‘Just looking at some pictures today. Thinking about you Mamie every minute,’ the heartbroken mom added.

She shared eight photos of a young Mamie, showing pictures of her posing on vacation and some other family snaps.
The 19-year-old star was first admitted to hospital on May 11 after suffering an undisclosed medical emergency.
She then suffered ‘life threatening’ injuries on May 26 after falling from a fifth-floor balcony walkway located in a hospital.
Her family said Mamie’s body had been ‘shattered’ following her fall, and she had undergone multiple extensive surgeries, adding it was an ‘absolute miracle’ she was alive.
‘We are deeply saddened to report that on May 26th, Mamie, who has been in intensive treatment for the past two weeks, was escorted out of a secure unit of the hospital and taken up to a balcony walkway from which she fell five stories,’ a GoFundMe page created by her family said.
‘She sustained life threatening injuries, has undergone multiple extensive surgeries, and is currently on life support.’
Speaking with the Los Angeles Times on Thursday, Mamie’s mother said her daughter had just ‘opened her eyes.’
‘Let’s just hope this is the turnaround and she’s going to get through this now. I couldn’t be happier that people reached out and cared. The story will be told,’ Nicole said.
Her mother said the fall was not ‘intended’ and was not a suicide attempt.
Nicole added Mamie was ‘alive and is showing signs of improvement,’ however her recovery remained unclear.
She noted her daughter was in ‘tremendous pain’ – but was ‘aware’ and able to squeeze her hand.

Mamie needed sedation to remain still as she healed from her surgeries, her mother added.
Nicole also said the family is looking to take legal action against St. Paul’s Hospital, the hospital she was at during the fall. She categorized the possible legal action as a ‘negligence-type case.’
‘We have a case. All we care about is that Mamie can make a recovery and that she’s alive and that she’s fighting and that she’s strong. It’s unbelievable that she’s with us,’ her mother added.
