Rep. Anna Paulina Luna said just three days after the latest assassination attempt on Donald Trump that her office received threats of a shooting.
The Florida MAGA sweetheart demanded Democrats stop their radical rhetoric calling Trump a ‘threat’ as an uptick of threats and violence continue to plague the right side of the political aisle.
‘My office has received a very serious shooting threat,’ Rep. Luna (R-Fla.) posted to X on Wednesday.
‘This division and hate campaign against Republicans is going to get someone killed,’ she added. ‘I will not be threatened, intimidated, or bow down to those using violence as a means to push their agenda. We will win.’
In the span of two months, two separate would-be assassins targeted Trump – one who shot the former president in the ear at a Butler, Pennsylvania rally on July 13 and one who staked out his golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida on September 15.
Meanwhile, bomb threats are also inundating the town of Springfield, Ohio after Trump and running mate Sen. J.D. Vance recently highlighted unusual reports claiming illegal immigrants are eating ducks and pet cats in the area.
Vice President Kamala Harris says the ‘hateful rhetoric’ from Republicans is what led to the bomb threats.
But MAGA world says that Democrats calling Trump a ‘threat to democracy’ is what is causing the uptick in violence and threat of violence.
Now, Rep. Luna says she is the latest target.
‘The continued rhetoric by Kamala Harris and the radical left about President Trump and Republicans being a ‘threat’ has to STOP,’ she wrote on her official congressional X account.
She added: ‘The fact that it continues even after the first (crazy that we have to say first) attempt on his life is disgusting.’
On her private account, Luna asked for prayers for her family.
