Lupita Nyong’o and Oprah Winfrey commanded attention at the Lawmen: Bass Reeves party in Los Angeles on Friday night.
The Oscar-winning actress, 40, stunned in a crop top Prada ensemble as the TV host icon, 69, looked chic in a figure-hugging dress to kick off the new Paramount + series from the creator of Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan.
Giving a peek at her sculpted abs, Lupita stole the spotlight in the dark grey strapless top, matching pants and jacket as she added oversized designer shades to the mix.
Oprah dared to impress with a leggy display as her couture number featured a slit along the length of her gorgeous gams.
The breathtaking beauties joined each other on the red carpet at one point in the evening, as they wrapped their arms around each other and flashed their megawatt smiles.

The stunning stars were joined by an A-list crowd that included Gayle King, Niecy Nash, Demi Singleton and more.
The sparkling crowd certainly had much to celebrate as the new Western series has set a record for Paramount+, as the show has become the streamer’s most-watched series premiere globally this year, per Deadline.
The first two episodes reached 7.5 million viewers globally in their first seven days.
Paramount Global reports that the total includes viewership from both Paramount+ and the broadcast preview of the show on CBS.
This figure surpasses Lawmen: Bass Reeves’ original audience of 3.55 million viewers who watched either live or on the same day during the consecutive broadcast premiere on CBS, more than doubling the initial viewership.
‘Our goal at Yoruba Saxon is simple, to normalize the marginalized for a global audience,’ David Oyelowo, executive producer and star, said in a statement.
‘The international embrace of Lawmen: Bass Reeves shows that borders are no boundary to a fresh perspective on a great story.’
The show is inspired by the life of the real-life lawman Bass Reeves, who was the first Black Deputy US Marshal west of the Mississippi River.

The series follows Reeves (played by Oyelowo) as he hunts down fugitives in what was known as the ‘Indian Territory’ in Arkansas , land that was reserved for Native Americans who were forced off their tribal lands by the US government and pushed out west.
Along with executive producer David Oyelowo, the cast includes Lauren E. Banks, Demi Singleton, Forrest Goodluck, Emmy Award winner Barry Pepper, Honorary Oscar recipient Donald Sutherland, and Emmy Award nominee Dennis Quaid.
The ensemble also features Shea Whigham and Garrett Hedlund as guest stars, and, in recurring roles, Joaquina Kalukango, Lonnie Chavis, Grantham Coleman, Tosin Morohunfola, Dale Dickey, Rob Morgan, Ryan O’Nan, Margot Bingham, Mo Brings Plenty, Justin Hurtt-Dunkley, and Bill Dawes.

Earlier this month, Paramount announced that it had greenlit two new spinoffs, titled 1944 and 2024.
The latter show is believed to be a previously announced sequel to the flagship series starring Matthew McConaughey.
The actor has been cast to replace original Yellowstone lead Kevin Costner after he departed the show at the end of season 5A, with the second half of the season still left to be filmed.

Costner had reportedly butted heads with Sheridan and Paramount executives over his desire for more money to shoot the rest of the season, as well as his request to film for considerably less time to allow him to focus on shooting his own two-part epic Western film Horizon.
The other spinoff, 1944, will presumably be a sequel to the earlier 1923, which stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.
Although Sheridan seems to be doubling down on using years as titles, both 1944 and 2024 are only working titles that could change down the line.
