They starred in the Aussie TV cult favourite Love My Way 20 years ago.
And now actors Brendan Cowell, 47, and Asher Keddie, 49, are set to reunite in a new drama series for the ABC.
The six-part series titled Plum is based on Cowell’s 2021 novel of the same name and is centred around a footy player suffering from a life-threatening brain trauma.
It began filming on Sydney’s southern beaches this week, reports industry blog TV Tonight.
‘Plum is about my two favourite things; Sport and Poetry,’ Cowell said in a statement.

Set in Cronulla, in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, Plum’s story revolves around Peter ‘Plum’ Lum (Cowell) a former NRL star who is living the good life.
But after taking a thousand hard knocks on the pitch, the tough as nails footy star is diagnosed with a brain disorder.
Known as a national treasure, he tries to hide his condition from his loved ones including his ex-wife (Asher Keddie)
Also included in the cast is Argentine actress María Dupláa who plays Charmaine, the girlfriend of Cowell’s character.
Newcomer Vincent Miller, meanwhile, is in the role of Gavin, the Cowell character’s young son.
Also featured in the cast is Wentworth star Susie Porter and New Zealand funnyman Jemaine Clement, best known as one half of comedy duo Flight of the Concords.
Charlotte Friels from the controversial film Nitram, Crystal Nguyen, Talijah Blackman-Corowa, and Janet King’s Andy Ryan also star.
Last King of the Cross star Janet Anderson, John Tui and Jenni Baird complete the cast.
Behind the scenes talent on Plum includes Love My Way producer John Edwards and writer Fiona Seres.
Plum, meanwhile, will be directed by Wayne Blair and Margie Beattie.

Love My Way, meanwhile, debuted on Foxtel in 2004.
Running for three seasons the beloved soap about thirty-somethings starred Brendan Cowell, Asher Keddie, Claudia Karvan and Dan Wylie.
