The new Love Island villa for 2024 has been revealed and this year producers are hoping revamped rules for the Hideaway will make the series the sexiest yet.

can reveal the private quarters complete with hot tub and swing can be accessed by the Islanders at any time instead of being locked, with a new ‘No Invite Needed’ order.

And there will be no distractions for stars looking to get intimate under the covers, as bosses have scrapped the kinky cupboard full of body chocolate and sexy lingerie, to eliminate contestants falling into old habits of past Islanders.

When they’re not fighting over the Hideaway, the only area in the villa they can be totally alone with their partner, this year’s cast will be basking in the Spanish sunshine on the brand-new outdoor day beds, which are Miami inspired.

The girls have been treated to a new pamper suite stocked full of designer beauty products, this time on the ground floor of the villa, in a move producers hope will give them even more time to gossip about who is their type on paper.

Executive producer Mike Spencer, said: ‘We’re back at the same villa but it’s had a massive glow up. We have tried to create these new zones, so everyone has a place, and everything has a place.

‘There’s a Miami area here, which is really cool and quirky. We wanted to create a very Instagram worthy villa, because it felt right to do so.’

Introducing the new rules of the Hideaway, Mike continued, ‘The Hideaway has a new neon ‘No Invite Needed’ sign… So, it could be the sexiest series of Love Island ever.

‘There is no invite needed to go in The Hideaway. I think this series is really sexy anyway but we will always take more.’

Contestants on the new series include Patsy Field, 29, Mimii Ngulube, 24, Ronnie Vint, 27, and Sam Taylor, 23, who are all hoping to find love in Mallorca this summer.

But they won’t be expecting a shock twist during the first episode, with a new ‘game play’ teased by producers, which could see one Islander dumped just hours after arriving.

Mike said: ‘The audience want to be entertained all series and it’s good to keep things fresh and keep everyone on their toes and remind them they’re here to find love.

‘We have changed the day one format too and there will be something very new, it’s not a public vote… but there will be a new way to couple up our Islanders. I hope it will shock the Islanders, I don’t want to say too much but there will be an element of a new game play that will lead to their couples without them knowing it.’

And can confirm the series will be eight weeks long, giving Islanders maximum time to explore their romantic connections.

The show’s host, Maya Jama, 29, is hoping this season will be packed full of drama, as she reflects on only presenting the franchise for the past year but already completing four series.

She said: ‘I’m definitely here for the drama… it can’t just be smooth sailing all the time, can it? You need something to ruff it up a bit.

‘Since I’ve joined, this is my second year but it feels like I have been here for 10… it’s my second time doing the summer, all four seasons I have worked on have been absolutely dramatic.’

Maya, who was a Love Island fan before presenting the show, confirmed she doesn’t contribute ideas to the format, cheekily saying it isn’t in her job title, yet…

She said: ‘Do I have an impact? No, because then I’d get producer credits, wouldn’t I?

‘If I could, I would… but no, that’s not my job title yet. I’m a fan of the show and have grown up on reality TV as a fan so maybe one day, never say never.’

He said: ‘As we have showcased over the last 10 series, we will always strive to have the most representative and diverse cast across the board and in terms of regionality as well.

‘Job roles, people, we do, and we will continue to do that, we have some amazing bombshells coming. We will continue to do what we do, and we are excited to see who is coming in.’
