Alert – Lara Worthington cuts a chic figure in black leather jacket as she arrives in Sydney with husband Sam and their rarely seen three young sons

Lara Worthington is back Down Under with her family. 

The model arrived at Sydney Airport on Tuesday alongside her husband, Sam Worthington, and their three young sons, Racer, River, Rocket.

The 37-year-old fashionista, who is now based in the USA with her family, showed off her cutting edge style as she disembarked from the plane in a black leather jacket. 

The loose fit of the garment leant the look a high fashion air, and she added a pair of wide-fit army green trousers. 

Lara hid her famous face behind a pair of designer sunglasses and appeared to have on minimal makeup for her long haul flight. 

She completed the ensemble with a pair of black and white sneakers and pushed along a number of suitcases.

Sam, 48, meanwhile opted for a zip up jacket over a black shirt and loose slacks and also had on sunglasses.

He wrangled the pair’s young sons as they headed from the terminal to find transportation with their luggage in tow. 

The couple’s boys, Rocket, nine, Racer, eight, and River, four, were by their side with Sam carrying their youngest on his hip. 

The notoriously private couple welcomed their son River in a shroud of secrecy, with estimates that his birth happened sometime between March and June in 2020. 

Their older sons were born in 2015 and 2016.

They likewise kept the births of their older two boys secret and now shield their brood from the public eye.

Lara and Sam began dating in 2013 and married secretly in 2014.

Sam previously referenced the same parenting advice in an interview with Stellar magazine, admitting that he doesn’t always get it right, but tries his best.

‘I’ve tried to handle [fame] carefully. It is hard; there’s no book to tell you how to do it. There’s no set of rules’ he told the magazine.

‘I have made a few mistakes. And that’s okay. You grow from that’. 

Sam also stressed that it’s important to him that his sons know a normal life full of sports and cartoons like any other kid, far from the trappings of fame.

‘Now I’ve got kids, it’s more a case of protecting my kids from [attention]’ he said at the time.

‘At the moment, my kids don’t care what their dad does. They don’t look at my job in any spectacular way.

‘They just want me to take them to soccer practice and hang out and watch Paw Patrol. You’re doing your best to have this balance, and that’s all you can do.’

Lara also recently told The Daily Telegraph that the pair, who met in 2013, are enjoying growing old together.

‘As a family unit, we’re all very close. We’ve only got each other. Sam and I are a good team’ she said.

Lara went on to say that she and her family are ‘all very close’ and that she isn’t too strict a parent.

‘They always make me feel so good, especially Sam. I don’t want that to ever go; I hope it doesn’t,’ she said.

‘But being able to be a mum and [to] work definitely stems from your partner. Sam and I are on the same page, so I feel like he’s ‘got me’ when I’m working and vice versa.’ 

Worthington also gave a very rare insight into his family life with wife Lara and their three children during an interview with The Kyle and Jackie O show recently. 

The Avatar star extended some fatherly advice to new dad Kyle Sandilands after he welcomed his first child Otto. 

He admitted there’s no right or wrong way to parenting after Kyle admitted he ‘should have read a book or something’ following the birth of son Otto.

‘The books don’t tell you anything… It’s a hands on experience and you learn as you go. That’s what me and Lara are doing,’ Sam said.
