She then used her natural good looks to become a teen beauty queen in contest which led to her being discovered by a modeling agent.

She went on to work with top photographers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Helmut Newton, and Richard Avedon.
The star appeared on more than twenty Vogue covers around the world.
In 2000, Bax appeared in the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
