Kyle Sandilands did not mince words on Friday when he revealed what he though of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg re-recording an iconic rap song to celebrate an anniversary with his wife.

The 40-year old tech leader shared an acoustic version of Lil Jon’s Get Low, in collaboration with rapper T-Pain, to mark his ‘dating anniversary’ with wife Priscilla Chan.

Sandilands, 53, slammed Zuckerberg’s heartfelt move and told his co-star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, 49, he thought Mark’s song, in which he turned an upbeat rap track into a slow heartfelt ballad, was ridiculous.

‘Worst thing ever. He must be rebranding himself to be cool and it’s failed. The wife loves getting low and here’s Mark’s song! So embarrassing,’ Kyle began.

‘Why would he be bothering doing this? Yeah, he made Facebook, but whatever. What else have you done, you have done one thing in your life!’

Jackie said the original Get Low song held sentimental value to Mark and his wife as it was always played at the college parties they attended while studying at Harvard University in 2004.

‘I don’t think she’ll be impressed,’ Kyle shot back.

However, Mark’s wife Priscilla did not appear to agree with Kyle’s assessment as she commented on her husband’s post and told him how much she loved what he did.

‘Can’t get quite as low anymore but more in love and grateful for that than ever. Love you MZ,’ Priscilla wrote.

Mark revealed on Instagram the song had been playing when they first met at a party as Harvard freshers, adding they listened to it every year on their dating anniversary.

The Zuckerberg and T-Pain, or ‘Z-Pain’, cover features an acoustic version of a heavily auto-tuned Mark singing the NSFW lyrics.

At one point Mark gently sings the lyrics: ‘From the windows to the walls, till sweat drops down my b***s, till all these b***hes crawl,’ and ‘can I play with your panty line, club owner said I need to calm down, security guard is sweating me now, I got drunk and a motherf***er threatened me now.’

Despite the romantic overtone of the gesture, rap fans came out in their droves to share their contempt for the song, with one saying it was the ‘worst cringe song of the year.’

In his Instagram post, Mark also shared a throwback photo of him cuddling up to his wife of 12 years.
