Kristen Bell stepped out in a form-fitting black and ivory off-the-shoulder dress from Posse, styled by Nicole Chavez, in New York City on Tuesday.
It was one of two different looks the 44-year-old Forgetting Sarah Marshall star wore as she promoted her upcoming Netflix romcom Nobody Wants This.
Appearing on CBS Mornings to talk up her new series, which premieres September 24 and co-stars Adam Brody, Kristen referred to romantic comedies as ‘happy entertainment,’ adding that they’re ‘something to look forward to and you feel a sense of joy and love when you watch them.’
But fans were left divided after Netflix shared a trailer for the show, with viewers using social media platform X to emphatically voice their opinions.
One person criticized, ‘You’d be hard pressed to come up with a better title than “Nobody Wants This” to describe a Netflix series full of so many cringeworthy Jewish stereotypes.’

Bell — who also executive produced the series — plays Joanne, an irreverent woman who falls for Brody’s charming character Noah.
A logline for the show reads: ‘He’s stuck in his ways and used to playing things safe. He starts to stumble when he meets a brutally honest and provocative Joanne, totally upending his safe life plan.’
The two were spotted filming a passionate kissing scene in Los Angeles this past January.
