A Los Angeles-based fertility clinic, popular among stars like Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and Chrissy Teigen, is about to get hit with a major lawsuit.

Dr. Andy Huang of Reproductive Partners Medical Group, a clinic known for helping its numerous celebrity clients expand their families, has been accused of ‘wrongfully throwing out 16’ embryos belonging to one couple.

In a statement provided to DailyMail.com by Peiffer Wolf, the former patients claim that they have ‘potentially’ been left unable to have children of their own after their embryos were allegedly discarded by the clinic.

On Tuesday, the couple plan on filing their lawsuit in Los Angele and sharing their story publicly for the first time.

The couple, who have not been identified, are not public figures.

They are being represented by attorney Adam Wolf, who is a partner at Peiffer Wolf.

According to his profile on his firm’s website, Wolf has already ‘litigated and resolved a substantial number of claims by clients who suffered the devastating loss of their embryos and eggs.’

Over his career, the University of Michigan Law School graduate has represented more than 1000 clients against their fertility centers and started his firm’s embryo-loss practice group.

Previously, Dr. Huang has been featured on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and helped Kim conceive her three youngest children, who she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

Kim also introduced Hilton, her younger sister, Khloé and hairdresser Jen Atkin to Huang, who Kardashian previously described as the ‘IVF magician.’

In a 2017 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloé received an ultrasound of her uterus at Huang’s office that was filmed for the reality series.

During the appointment she received some disappointing news, as Huang told her: ‘There are fewer follicles than I anticipate for a normal 32-year-old.’

And in 2020 she was featured on the doctor’s YouTube channel, where he discussed egg freezing with her.

The doctor also participated in an interview for Vogue in 2019 about fertility, in which his office was described as being open ‘seven days a week’ and Huang’s desk being full of cards from patients with notes saying ‘Thank you. Our heart is full. My hero.’
