On Saturday, the SKIMS founder, 43, shared two video clips to her Instagram Stories of herself getting wakeboarding lessons.
In one of the recordings, the reality TV star – who recently had a breakthrough in therapy – sat in the boat with a blue and black life vest on and a big smile on her face.
Her handsome instructor was Austin Keen, a world champion skim boarder and wake surfer, who Kim called ‘Tarzan of the seas.’
Austin stood behind her in the boat photo and as she wake boarded in the water.

Austin, who counts Katie Maloney, Tommy Lee and Michael Franti among his celebrity followers, also shared videos of Kim’s lesson on his Instagram.
‘So much fun wakesurfing with @kimkardashian,’ he wrote.
‘Got her to drop the rope and surf for the first time ever! Super impressed with how fast she picked it up and took it to the next level by riding doubles with me!’
Kim’s fans flocked to Austin’s post to comment, with one writing, ‘KIM!!!! Welcome to the girls surf club!!!! You did so good!’

During the season five finale of The Kardashians on Hulu, Kim recapped her year and after saying she was entering her ‘actress era,’ she joked that after watching a season of The Crown, she has set her sights on ruling a country.’
‘This year has been so good,’ she began. ‘I’m entering my actress era. I had no clue this was going to happen. I’ve taken some time off just to really focus on being the best mom I could be.’

Earlier this season, Kim opened up about how her levelheadedness may have developed from becoming ‘so desensitized from trauma.’
While talking to Khloé Kardashian, Kim said her therapist theorized her instinct to remain calm in crisis most likely stemmed from a past event.
Kim said her therapist told her: ‘One time in life, something happened, and you remained calm, and that worked for you, so you will always choose calm.’
Khloé speculated that the traumatic event that shifted her mindset might have been when she was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room in 2016.
