Kaz Crossley has been confirmed as the second star set to appear on the latest series of Love Island All Stars, ahead of next week’s launch.

The reality star, 30, appeared on the ITV reality show in 2018, where she reached the final and finished in third place with Josh Denzel.

An insider confirmed to on Monday that Kaz has signed up for the show and has already landed in South Africa.

The makeup artist’s return to the show comes after she hit the headlines in February 2023, when she was questioned and held in prison in the United Arab Emirates on suspicion of drug offences.

A source told The Sun that she was ‘thrilled’ to be returning to the villa, saying: ‘She had a rough time a year or so ago and this feels like an amazing opportunity for her to have some fun again.’

Kaz first appeared on series four of Love Island as a Casa Amor bombshell, and famously turned Josh’s head away from his then-partner Georgia Steel.

After the show the pair went on to date for six months, before eventually splitting in January 2019 with Kaz saying at the time: ‘Sometimes things don’t go the way you planned, but you have to be grateful for the journey.’

She soon sparked up a romance with fellow Love Island alum Theo Campbell in March that year, but in early 2020 he revealed he had been dumped ahead of what would have been their one-year anniversary.

The pair then suffered an awkward reunion after they both appeared on Celebrity Ex On The Beach in 2022.

While in 2023, Kaz experienced the ‘lowest point of her life’ after she was arrested and held in a Dubai prison.

In 2020, the reality star was filmed without her knowledge, appearing to snort lines of white powder in Dubai by her ‘controlling and manipulative’ ex-boyfriend.

She said it ‘destroyed her mental health and career’ and she admitted she ‘didn’t leave the house for three months due to crippling anxiety’.

After flying into Abu Dhabi for a work trip following the incident, Kaz was put in jail for a week alongside a new mother and her six-month-old baby.

She detailed the ‘scariest experience of her life’ as she was ‘strip searched’ and held with prisoners in a jail cell for a week.

Kaz was arrested and an insider claimed ‘that her name obviously raised a red flag’ when her passport was checked in the UAE’s capital.

She was then moved to a Dubai prison, where she was reportedly refused a phone call to her family, but was permitted to send a single email.

A Foreign Office spokesman said at the time: ‘We are in contact with the local authorities following the arrest of a British national in the United Arab Emirates.’

Dubai has recently liberalised its drugs laws with first-time offenders given a minimum of three months in prison and a fine of between £4,559 and £22,799. Previously, offenders would have faced a minimum of four years in prison for any drug use.

After serving jail time, suspects are then deported to their home state – in Kaz’s case to the UK – and banned from returning to the UAE. Sentences for drug-trafficking can include the death penalty.

Speaking her ‘own truth’ on Instagram, Kaz said: ‘Hi everyone. I wanted to do this video to speak my own truth and use my own voice about a situation that’s happened to me.

‘I feel like I owe it to my followers and I owe it to myself to get closure about this situation because it’s been a good few years and I’m ready to move forward now.’

She went on: ‘In 2020, I was in Dubai. I was filmed – it was me in the video, no one forced me to do that – it was a time of my life where I definitely didn’t love myself at all, probably. And this is reflected in what I was doing to my body and who I surrounded myself with.’

‘[The video] later got leaked and then, more recently, I was on my way to Thailand,’ Kaz further explained.

‘I had an amazing job offer. I was so excited for this job offer guys, it was like my dream job and I was staying up all night researching and, yeah, I did not think about the transit in Abu Dhabi and that it would be an issue for me because, obviously, I wasn’t thinking and… yeah, everything happens for a reason.

‘I was then detained in Abu Dhabi and kept in custody from Monday through to Friday, which is when they released me.

‘I was very accepting of the situation and I was ready for whatever was going to happen to me because, at the end of the day, I take full accountability. I don’t lie. I said that that was me in the video and explained the situation, it was a long time ago, etc.’

Opening up about the ordeal in August 2023, Kaz broke down in tears as she told GK Barry on her Saving Grace podcast about how her unnamed ex had been the one to release the video of her snorting lines of white powder.

The TV personality said her ‘controlling’ ex ‘retaliated’ and wanted to ‘hurt and destroy her career’ due to her moving on.

Kaz admitted her ‘heart sank’ as she received a phone call from her manager who told her a tabloid had caught hold of the video, saying she ‘couldn’t breathe’ and was left ‘hysterically crying’.

Hitting what she thought was rock bottom, she lost all her brand deals, ‘became depressed’ and didn’t leave the house.

Her confirmation for Love All Stars comes after India Reynolds became the first star revealed to have signed up.

The influencer, 34, first appeared on series five in 2019 where she finished third place with basketball player Ovie Soko.

The couple had a short-lived romance and eventually split just four months after leaving the villa.

And now reports emerged that India has already touched down in South Africa to film – where she is in hiding ahead of shaking things up once again, The Sun reports.

Two months ago, India teased that she’d be eager to join Love Island All Stars’ cast and give love another shot.

‘I’ve been single for two years, I enjoy it…I haven’t really dated anyone seriously in that time,’ she told The Sun.

‘As much as I would love to find someone, I can’t say I’ve been putting that much time into doing it.

‘But maybe Love Island would be the right thing because then you’re shoved with a load of people.’

Love Island: All Stars Islanders are the best of the best. Having won over the nation and made a name for themselves the first time round, now they’re back in an all new series, set to start next month.

Inspired by the sumptuous world of royal portraits, the new teaser shows an array of paintings which have of course had a Love Island twist to show off hunky abs and bikini bodies.

In the first of a series of trailers for the show’s much-anticipated launch, an artist prepares the final artwork, with a regal host Maya standing for her own portrait.

The artist is heard saying: ‘Madame, it’s finished,’ to which Maya replies: ‘Finished? We’re just getting started.’

ITV announced last week that the start date for the reality dating series is just weeks away and will begin on January 13 at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.

The news was revealed on the show’s Instagram page alongside a photograph of an invitation which was addressed to ‘dating royalty’.

The white invitation with gold and black writing, read: ‘Dear Islander, as dating royalty, you are cordially invited back to the villa as a Love Island All Star.’

Maya landed the full time role as Love Island’s number one presenter when Laura Whitmore stood down in 2022.

Since then she has hosted Love Island Games, Love Island All Stars and series 11 which went out in June and July.
