Katy Perry has responded to a yearslong conspiracy theory that she is JonBenét Ramsey.

A social media user named Peter Shields recently shared an AI-generated video of the six-year-old slain beauty queen morphing into the 40-year-old pop star — who modeled a bedazzled dress this week — via Instagram.

Written below the seconds-long clip was a note that read, ‘Wake up ppl,’ in capital letters along with siren emoji.

The post was soundtracked to Katy’s 2012 ballad Wide Awake and the caption noted, ‘iykyk,’ short for the phrase ‘if you know you know.’

The singer-songwriter joined the comments to playfully write, ‘Wait, am I?’ as she racked up over 5,000 likes.

Reactions from fans were mixed, with some people getting a kick out of the bizarre rumor.

One person wrote, ‘I’ve always thought this,’ while someone else said it was his ‘favorite conspiracy theory EVER.’

There were others who pointed out that the notion and video were disrespectful to the deceased, whose unsolved murder took place in 1996.

‘Please stop. Don’t disrespect that little girl like this,’ one person said, while another commented that the whole thing was ‘in very poor taste.’

‘Not real. Different bdays. Sick sh*t,’ someone else asserted.

A different Instagram user exclaimed, ‘Omg, katie is not jonbenet! People will believe anything…sigh.’

And someone else remarked, ‘The fact that Katy Perry actually commented makes this even better.’

Days ago JonBenét Ramsey’s father demanded cops retest every piece of evidence from his daughter’s murder investigation for DNA after DailyMail.com’s bombshell interview with a woman claiming her ex is the killer.

John Ramsey, 81, told DailyMail.com this week that the key to solving the murder mystery rests in genetic genealogy, a method that has helped crack other cold cases.

John met with the Boulder, Colorado police department in January and pleaded with Chief Stephen Redfearn to reexamine some of the evidence at the center of the case: the makeshift garrotte that was found embedded in JonBenét’s neck and the unidentified male DNA discovered in her underwear and beneath her fingernails.

Should investigators oblige, John believes there’s a 60 to 70 percent chance JonBenét’s killer could be behind bars within months.

He even offered to pay for the tests himself, but was told by the department that it wouldn’t be necessary.

‘DNA technology has advanced dramatically since the last round of testing was done in the mid-2000s,’ John explained. ‘If it doesn’t work then I’ll praise the police for trying everything they could […] but, to me, it’s just so obvious where the police’s time needs to be spent.’
