Despite the book not being released until July 18, it has already reached the top spot on Amazon’s ‘Movers and Shakers’ chart in the UK.

In the announcement Katie explained how she aims to ‘put the truth right’ in the publication titled This Is Me.

Katie admitted the book will feature ‘dark moments’, such as her breakdown, as well as more ‘uplifting’ times.

Speaking in the announcement video, she said: ‘This book just tops all others for so many years I’ve hid behind what I’ve learnt, the mask, because that’s my way of dealing with things.

‘It gets to a point where it becomes noise. I had a breakdown, the worst thing ever. Now I’ve leant not to be afraid.’

Katie continued: ‘In this book people will get to see really what it’s like to be me

‘There will be uplifting moments and there will be dark moments where I can put the truth right in a lot of things.’

Celebrating her thirty-year career and twenty years since her bestselling debut autobiography, Being Jordan was published, This is Me is Katie at her most honest and reflective, exploring the incredible highs and devastating lows of her life and turbulent career.

She will also reflect on her relationships, addictions, regrets, ADHD, the media, family, childhood, trauma and bankruptcy.

For the first time in her publishing history, Katie will narrate the audiobook version of her memoir.

In a press release she added: ‘I am so thrilled to be working with John Blake again on what I don’t doubt, will be the most intimate portrayal of my life to date.’

Ciara Lloyd, Publishing Director for Blink and John Blake said: ‘John Blake launched Katie’s publishing career with Being Jordan in 2004, which sold over 400,000 copies in hardback alone, so I’m thrilled to welcome Katie back home.

‘It’s an incredible publishing story of coming full circle in the year that she’s also celebrating 30 years in the industry. Katie has had her fair share of ups and downs, and is so often misunderstood, so I can’t wait to publish her incredible book that shines a light on the real person behind the headlines. You won’t want to miss this.’

Katie has reportedly been sent a warning after ‘not co-operating’ in paying back her £3.2million debt.

According to The Sun, the former glamour model is still trapped in her 2019 insolvency due to outstanding tax and mortgage payments.

It was previously thought Katie would be discharged from bankruptcy after one year but her status remains ‘indefinite’ due to her lack of engagement.

Government guidance: ‘You will be freed from bankruptcy (discharged) after 12 months. This ends the bankruptcy restrictions and releases you from most of the debts you had when the bankruptcy order was made.

‘Your bankruptcy can be extended for longer than 12 months if you do not cooperate with your trustee.

‘Check your discharge date using the Individual Insolvency Register on our website. If your discharge status is ‘suspended indefinitely’ you need to contact the official receiver for an update.’

has contacted a representative of Katie Price for comment.

Katie was declared bankrupt for a second time in March after failing to pay over £750,000 in unpaid tax – and will now face losing her home unless HMRC can recover the money.

The reality star failed to appear at a court hearing in London to explain why she has not paid any money to HMRC.

Speaking in the announcement video, she said: 'This book just tops all others for so many years I've hid behind what I've learnt, the mask, because that's my way of dealing with things'

A judge at the High Court ruled that she be declared bankrupt after an official from HMRC said she has failed to pay any money owed or responded to any correspondence since the demand was made for the unpaid tax last year.

It is the second bankruptcy faced by Katie as she is being chased by creditors for a £3.2million payment over the failure of her company Jordan Trading Ltd.

Judge Sebastion Prentis sitting at the High Court Rolls Building said Katie had been served with a petition on November 27 2023 with a demand for £761,994.05.

The huge amount is made up of unpaid tax from self-assessment on her earnings from2020 – 2022 as well as penalties and surcharges.

The court was told she owed £142,405 in tax for 2020-2021 and £196,735 for 2021-2022.

This is Me will be published in hardback, audio and eBook on July 18. Signed hardback copies are available at WHSmith.
