She might be one of the world’s biggest supermodels, however there is one modelling pose that Kate Moss cannot pull off. 

The star, 50, is Vogue’s most prolific cover girl, but she hasn’t yet mastered a ‘glamorous wink’. 

Appearing in a explosive new Vogue documentary for Disney+, Kate’s wink became hot topic after Edward Enninful exposed her failure. 

The former editor in chief of British Vogue revealed that when he was shooting with Kate for the iconic series of covers he did for i-D magazine he realised her flaw. 

He said: ‘Kate Moss can’t wink! So many of the models couldn’t wink!’

And Kate agreed with Edward as she added: ‘I can’t wink, literally. I cannot do a glamorous wink! 

‘It was always, “oh nooo, an i-D cover!” But of course, historic, I always thought they were the coolest, so yeh, I loved doing them.’

i-D magazine was launched by Terry Jones in 1980 and was dedicated to a illustrating a more punk-era London. 

Quickly earning its worthy position in fashion and style, the magazine revolutionised the world of fashion and fashion publishing. 

As well as Kate, other supermodels also featured in the magazine such as Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell who would each pose in their signature wink. 

Kate features in the new series alongside A-listers Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow and Victoria Beckham as they take a deep dive into defining moments of 90s Vogue. 

Titled In Vogue: The 90s, the fascinating six-part series telling the definitive story of the fashion industry during the decade through the eyes of Vogue editors, Hamish Bowles, Edward Enninful, Tonne Goodman and of course the famous Anna Wintour.

The first three episodes, Volume I, will launch exclusively on the streaming platform on September 13, before the final three episodes, Volume II, follows on September 20. 

Each episode focuses on a defining 90s moment from Hollywood and grunge to the Met Gala, the globalization of American fashion and hip hop.

And in her short feature in the trailer reality queen exclaims: ‘Oh my god’ as the stars each describe the 90s. 

In a decade that ‘turned the fashion industry upside down,’ Victoria Beckham describes the period of time as a ‘whirlwind’ as she is shown with her former pixie cut hairstyle. 

As the celebrities reflect on the period they add that it was a ‘crazy, messy, astonishing time’.
