Kate Hudson celebrated her son Ryder Robinson’s 20th birthday by sharing a photo of his birthday cake on her Instagram account on Monday.
The 44-year-old actress had a cake with a photo taken during her eldest child’s early years printed on its top portion made in commemoration of his special day.
The performer – who opened up about the difficulty of producing rom-coms – also wrote a short message that read: ‘I’m gonna have to let this one digest for a bit…My beautiful boy, happy 20th. I love you beyond.’
Ryder’s birthday was also commemorated by Hudson’s former fiance, Matt Bellamy, who shared a photo featuring the actress’ son on his Instagram account.
In the snap, the Muse frontman sat courtside with him while watching a Los Angeles Lakers game.

Hudson shares her son with her former husband Chris Robinson, whom she married in December of 2000.
The former couple went on to start their family with Ryder’s birth, which took place four years later, and they divorced in 2007.
The Almost Famous actress began dating Bellamy in 2010, and they became engaged the following year.
The pair welcomed a son named Bingham, twelve, in July of 2011, and although they split up in 2014, they have since remained on friendly terms.
Hudson eventually moved on with Danny Fujikawa, and their daughter Rani Rose, five, in October of 2018.
The happy couple went on to reveal their engagement to the public in September of 2021.
The performer spoke about her children during an interview with The Sunday Times and expressed that she was happy to have been able to raise a large family.
‘The unit that I’ve created with three children with three different fathers is a seriously strong unit, and it’s ours,’ she said.

Hudson also spoke about how she had learned to love the idea of raising kids with both of her former partners and her current fiance.
‘It might not look traditional from the outside, but on the inside I feel like we’re killing it,’ she stated.
The actress went on to speak about how she had been able to maintain healthy relationships with the fathers of her two eldest children.
‘You can have an amazing time with an ex-partner because you’re really only focused on the love of your child,’ she said.
