In his Instagram announcement posted Tuesday, he wrote: ‘I’m so sorry to postpone tonight’s show. I have an injury that is preventing me from performing.’

He told fans: ‘I’m so disappointed to not see you all – but I’m working to reschedule ASAP. I promise to make it up to you and give you the show y’all deserve. Thank you guys for understanding. Appreciate your support always.’

The Sexy Back singer had been slated to perform a date of his Forget Tomorrow World Tour at the Prudential Center in Newark.

Timberlake’s next concert is still scheduled to take place in three days, this Friday evening at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

His injury comes just after it emerged that he had been out with his wife Jessica Biel’s former stylist Estee Stanley on the night of his DUI arrest.

Timberlake was pulled over that night after leaving the American Hotel in Sag Harbor – where he had been joined by the stylist and interior designer Stanley and her producer husband, Byran Furst, according to Page Six

She had previously styled Biel as well as other stars like Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz, and Demi Moore.

Stanley also hosted Biel and Timberlake’s engagement party at her Los Angeles home in 2012.

Aside from being a stylist, Stanley is also known as an interior decorator.  She has worked on Timberlake and Biel’s home, as well as the homes of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Lea Michele and Patrick Dempsey.

In 2012, she even partnered with Timberlake to create HomeMint, a collection of stylish home décor items.

‘This was really a collaboration with Estee,’ Timberlake said at the time.

‘I don’t think I would do it if we weren’t in it together. We’ve known each other for a long time and have worked together on my homes—we really have a like-minded vision.’

And in 2016, Staley, Biel, and Greenleaf founder Jon Rollo, opened Au Fudge, a family-friendly restaurant, that later closed in 2018.

At that time she also called Timberlake and Biel ‘practically my family.’

Reports say friends of Timberlake were trying to intervene at the scene of his arrest.

A woman had reportedly asked officers ‘Are you going to arrest Justin Timberlake?’ and offered to drive him home as per TMZ.

She was later allowed to drive his rental car to her home following his arrest.

Timberlake will not face drunk driving charges after sealing a plea deal in his DWI case. He pleaded guilty instead to a reduced violation charge of driving with ability impaired.

The plea leaves Timberlake free of a criminal record, which he would’ve had if convicted of the original misdemeanor charge.

As part of the plea deal, he agreed to pay the maximum fine of $500 and a surcharge of $260.

An important component to the deal, sources told DailyMail.com, is Timberlake’s willingness to do a public service video for the organization Mothers Against Drunk Driving.

Judge Carl Irace initially expressed dissatisfaction with the proposed statement, preferring a public service announcement. However, he ultimately accepted the deal under certain conditions.

The plea bargain deal that was struck by Timberlake’s attorney, Eddie Burke Jr.

Burke Jr has repeatedly denied his client was drunk when he was arrested.

Prior to his arrest he had been at The American Hotel with stylist and interior designer Stanley and her producer husband, Byran Furst, according to Page Six; Biel seen with Stanley in 2016

Timberlake will still have his New York drivers license suspended for six months because he refused to take a Breathalyzer test when he was pulled over.

The pop star was arrested in the early hours of June 18 following a night out with friends in the exclusive Hamptons enclave of Sag Harbor.

He was pulled over after he ran a stop sign while behind the wheel of his BMW X7, police said.

Local officers reportedly followed the pop star and observed him swerving across the road, forcing cops to pull him over.

Once he had stopped, officers noted that the singer was ‘glassy-eyed’ with a strong odor of alcohol emanating from him, according to a police report.

‘His eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests,’ the court papers said.

The father-of-two performed a field sobriety test and was asked to take a breathalyzer test, which he refused.

Timberlake told the officer he had one martini and was following some friends home, according to the documents.

Timberlake ‘accepted a plea deal because he wants to move on’ a source told People, adding he is, ‘a family man, and this is his focus.’ He and Biel share sons Silas, nine, and Phineas, four.

A young Timberlake began performing as a Disney Mouseketeer, where his castmates included future girlfriend Britney Spears.

Timberlake rose to fame in the behemoth boy band NSYNC, embarked on a solo recording career in 2002 and was one of pop’s most influential figures in the early 2000s.
