Justin Bieber posted a defiant message to his Insta Stories this Saturday morning, after weeks of fan concerns for his health.
He has left observers increasingly worried over his hollow-eyed appearance and his social media posts, including one of him smoking what looked like it could be a joint.
On Monday, he ignited a social media backlash over Instagram pictures that showed him apparently pulling from a bong – posted the day after his wife Hailey attended the Vanity Fair Oscars Party alone.
Now the 31-year-old singer, who shares a six-month-old son called Jack with his wife, has uploaded a telling post to his Insta Stories.
He shared a meme that began: ‘WE HAVE NOTHING TO PROVE TODAY JUST THE GIFT OF LIFE TODAY TO ACCEPT AND RECEIVE.’
The message continued: ‘NOTHING IS OWED TO US AND WE DONT OWE ANYONE ANYTHING,’ concluding with a heart emoji.

The post was set to the song ‘Hits From The Bong’ by Cypress Hill, which features lyrics about preparing and smoking marijuana using a bong.

Fans expressed disappointment following Justin’s latest post, which came shortly after videos of him smoking a ‘joint’ and rapping about getting ‘high.’

The video might have been a response to critics who claimed he was behaving ‘strange’ at his wife Hailey’s Rhode Skin pop-up event in Los Angeles last week.
It also comes just two days after he shared a video of himself performing a rap about being ‘high.’

The music artist shared an adorable family snap as both he and his wife Hailey held up their son Jack into the air.
Recent paparazzi images of the entertainer looking unusually tired and disheveled sparked online speculation that the former teen heartthrob could be using drugs.
But a rep for the Yummy hitmaker told TMZ in February, ‘The recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true.’
His representative denied that he was using hard drugs and claimed he looks hollow-eyed because he has been caring for his son who is struggling to sleep.
It was added that the father-of-one is ‘in one of the best places in his life.’
Last week a source has claimed that Hailey is ‘deeply concerned’ for her husband and doesn’t know ‘where to turn’ for ‘help.’
They claimed that he ‘doesn’t care about his well-being anymore’ and that he has ‘lost’ all ‘motivation’ – even for making music, which used to excite him.

His comments came months after he announced he was taking a break from music to focus on ‘some of the deep rooted issues that I have… so that I don’t fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be.’
