Jimmy Barnes shared a hilarious health update on Sunday when he took to the pool for some laps to improve his physical fitness.
The n rock legend, 67, had an awkward gaffe when he posed for photos in the water and managed to slip his goggles on upside down.
Wearing naught but a pair of black trunks, the Scottish-born musician was all smiles as he threw his hands up in excitement for a couple snaps shared to Instagram.
However, the second image in his reel saw the former Cold Chisel frontman slip on a black swim cap and goggles, the latter of which sat the wrong way on his face.
‘Sunday’s pool goal, 30 laps. Don’t get too excited, 25m pool. I didn’t know my goggles were upside down until Jane showed me this photo,’ the caption read.

It comes after Jimmy opened up about his close brush with death and grave fears he wouldn’t wake up from heart surgery.

While previously it was others who were concerned about him, two months ago, he was just as worried as his family after he was struck down by a life-threatening infection that attacked his heart.
At one point, while lying in Sydney’s St Vincent’s Hospital, a gravely-ill Jimmy told his wife Jane: ‘I don’t think I’m gonna make it.’
‘I just had this horrible morbid feeling because I’ve never felt this sick before. I thought I was gone,’ he told 60Minutes.
Hours before checking into hospital, an unwell Jimmy took to the stage at a memorial concert for his late friend and promoter, Michael Gudinski.
