The new miniseries — which premieres on November 26 — is based on footage for Luhrmann’s 2008 epic Australia.
The filmmaker has now expanded that film thanks to copious footage that was left on the cutting room floor before he shaved the final product down to 165 minutes.
Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman are returning to the world of Baz Luhrmann’s Australia, but in a drastically new form.
The miniseries follows Lady Sarah Ashley (Kidman) as she travels to Australia to sell a cattle ranch named Faraway Downs that is tucked away in the Outback.
