Jesse Plemons has revealed exactly how much weight he lost, following his dramatic transformation.
The 36-year-old Power of the Dog star — who earlier this month denied taking the diabetes drug Ozempic — lost a whopping 50 lbs.
‘I’m not lugging 50 more pounds around,’ he told Entertainment Tonight at the Thursday night premiere of his new film Kinds of Kindness.
The father-of-two, who is married to Kirsten Dunst, said he has ‘much more energy’ now that he’s slimmed down.
‘Like I’ve said, I’ve got young kids, so I got to keep up with them,’ he noted about sons Ennis, six, and James, three.

Plemons went on to note that he gradually shed the extra weight ‘over the course of a year and a half or so.’
It comes after last week Plemons insisted that he did not use the popular weight loss medication Ozempic.
He told the Los Angeles Times: ‘It’s really unfortunate that I decided to get healthy when everyone decided to take Ozempic. It doesn’t matter. Everyone’s going to think I took Ozempic anyways.’
The Texas native continued, ‘Several people talked to me about intermittent fasting and I just gave it a shot and [was] surprised at how quickly it was effective.
Referring to his role in Civil War alongside Dunst, he said: ‘There was a part that I did that in my mind I could not imagine him as the size that I was. I lost a little bit before I did that part.’
Jesse added, ‘And then felt like I was in the rhythm, I was feeling better, and something shifted in my head. I just sort of got a handle on it.’
Kirsten and Jesse met while playing an onscreen couple in the FX series Fargo in 2014. They became a real-life couple in 2016.
‘Because we fell in love on a set, we fell in love creatively first. I think we’ll always come back to that, in a very not-involving-our-real-life way,’ she told Marie Claire in March.

She gushed about her husband in the interview, ‘I love working with him.’
‘What’s nice is that we trust each other so much. He sent me a scene last night of this miniseries he’s working on to get my opinion,’ Dunst remarked about their tendency to lean on each other.
‘If I’m having a hard time deciding on something, I’ll have him read it. I trust his opinion more than anyone, and he cares about me more than anyone,’ she emphasized.
And noting their similarities when it comes to cinema, she said, ‘We hate the same things.’
