Jess Wright has admitted her psoriasis flare-ups ‘went through the roof’ after giving birth to son Presley, claiming her hormones played a huge part in it.

The former TOWIE star, 38, who shares son Presley, two, with her husband William Lee-Kemp, has continued to be open and honest about her ‘debilitating’ battle with the skin condition.

Jess, who has recently partnered up with WaterWipes, shared that her battle with psoriasis has made her be extra cautious to prevent any skin conditions for Presley, like she has suffered.

The mother-of-one said: ‘It’s really calmed down, I changed some of my diet. It’s still there, but it’s very, very mild compared to what it was last year. When I had Presley, it just I think hormones plays a huge part in it. And yeah, it just went through the roof.

‘When I had it a lot worse, it was awful. Like, I think, last summer I didn’t get my arms or legs out once apart from on holiday, where I, you know, I didn’t know anyone.

‘So I’d go through the summer like wearing clothes that were full length in the boiling heat because I literally just hated the way it looked. So it’s really horrible, It’s debilitating.

‘It makes you feel really c*** and yeah, but this year it’s been so refreshing to actually get my arms out.

‘I’ll put on a t-shirt and I’ll check myself and be like a t-shirt. Can I wear a t-shirt? And I’ll be like, Yes, I can Finally, because my arms actually aren’t too bad at the minute they, you know, they there’s a little bit, but not a lot.’

Elsewhere in the interview, Jess spoke about her new partnership with WaterWipes’ newest campaign, When Life Plays Dirty.

WaterWipes are specialised for sensitive skin and are made with just two ingredients. 99% water and a drop of fruit extract.

Jess, who raved about the wipes, said: ‘So when you have a baby, obviously you get all your bits and pieces you like, make sure you’re prepped and things like that and the wipes that I immediately chose before even like shopping around.

‘So for me, it was just really important because obviously when you have a baby, their skin is so sensitive at the beginning, you don’t wanna, like, irritate it at all, and you want everything to be perfect.

‘WaterWipes was an absolute go to, and I’ve used them ever since. So when WaterWipes realised this, we got chatting and stuff, that’s how it all came about.

Jess also admitted she gets incredibly conscious when she sees a blemish on Presley’s skin, due to what she has had to suffer herself.

She said: ‘Like you see, like the tiniest blemish on on your baby’s skin. And you’re like, “Oh, my God. What’s that? Is it eczema?”

‘You do get conscious of that. And I think as well like, yeah, when where I have that you do get the sort of the worry that they’re gonna get what you’ve got.

‘So, yes, but I also think with psoriasis, it’s an autoimmune disease, and it can be hereditary, but it isn’t always so.

‘I’m just gonna you know, I hope to God that he doesn’t get it, and suffer with it cos it’s not nice, but touch wood. So far, he hasn’t got eczema psoriasis and I know some babies around like us who do have eczema, and it can get so awful.

‘So I’m very, very grateful that he doesn’t have it cos it you know, it’s horrible to see them in pain.’
