There was no snow in Los Angeles this Christmas but that didn’t stop Jennifer Garner from embracing the festive vibes.
The 51-year-old star was spotted near her Brentwood home on Christmas Eve with a group of friends heading out for a sleigh ride, California style.
Garner and her pals, including model Molly Sims, hopped on a horse drawn carriage that was decked out with decorations and twinkling Christmas lights.

The 13 Going On 30 star kept it casual for her ride wearing jeans, black boots and a dark top.
She was snapped flashing her million dollar smile while chatting with friends before the ride around the neighborhood.
A decidedly more glam Jen popped up on Instagram later on Christmas Eve, decked out in her holiday finest.
‘Merry Christmas and Peace on Earth,’ Garner captioned her festive social media post.

In the snap, a glamorous Jen is posed in front of a Christmas tree wearing a 50s inspired green satin dress cinched at the waist with a thing black belt featuring a delicate gold bow.
Keeping in theme with the era of the dress, Garner’s hair is styled in luxurious old Hollywood waves.
This year, Garner returned to the screen in a somewhat panned Netflix holiday flick, The Family Switch which came out on November 30. Jennifer stars alongside Ed Helms, Emma Myers, and Brady Noon.
The film follows a couple who swaps bodies with their teenage kids after an encounter with a fortune teller.

Mom Jess finds herself in 17-year-old daughter CC’s body, while soccer star CC becomes her successful architecture mother. And dad Bill, a music teacher, switches with their 13-year-old son Wyatt, a hardworking scholar who is on course to attend Yale.
Despite the festive, fun feel of the flick, it didn’t go over too well with critics. A writer for the Hollywood Reporter also said, ‘If you’re just looking to fill a movie-shaped hole in your holiday plans, that might make it passable enough.
‘Only twice did I actually laugh out loud during the 100-minute movie. And it’s probably not much surprise, then, that Family Switch‘s emotional side doesn’t hit very hard either.

‘It’s simply hard to feel all that deeply for characters so flat and sweet they might as well be gingerbread people, resolving problems that barely seemed to exist in the first place.
‘But it also makes the film completely and utterly safe as background filler.’
Variety suggested that you ‘swap it for a better movie,’ while the Guardian slammed the filmmakers for ‘stuffing every gimmick imaginable into a single feature.’
