Jennifer Aniston has no plans to ‘offer any congratulations’ to her ex Brad Pitt following the finalization of his divorce from Angelina Jolie, according to sources who revealed that the Friends star ‘would love Brad to be happy’ as he moves forward.
After a bitter eight-year battle, Pitt and Jolie officially reached a settlement in their divorce – with the Tomb Raider actress finally signing her papers on Christmas Day.
Pitt famously ended his marriage to Aniston in 2005 after meeting Jolie on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The Troy actor and Jolie were then together for 11 years before their marriage came to its own explosive end in 2016.
Despite the very public love triangle and the many headlines it spawned over the years, Aniston and Pitt have managed to remain friendly since his split from Jolie – notably sharing a warm hug together at the 2020 SAG Awards.
However, a source exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com that Aniston has no interest in speaking about her ex-husband’s new divorce update – both in public or in private.
‘Jen isn’t looking to talk about Brad and Angelina’s divorce publicly, nor is she looking to reach out to Brad and offer any congratulations,’ the insider began.

Opening up about how Aniston plans to approach her ex when they next bump into each other at industry events, the insider explained: ‘The next time they see each other, they’ll be cordial with each other, they have been in the recent past and that won’t change.
‘They will talk about life and mostly anything else, but they aren’t going to dive into his feelings about the divorce or anything like that.’
‘Angelina is not a talking point between them and that will remain the same forever,’ the insider revealed.
However, noting that the pair have built up an amicable relationship in recent years, the source said: ‘Jen is good with Brad and is friendly with him. Over the years they both have settled their issues with each other and will never stop being respectful with each other.
‘Jen would love Brad to be happy first and foremost, and believes he is happy.’

Last week, Jolie and Pitt reached a settlement in their divorce but confirmed that they are still locked in a $62million dispute over a French chateau and vineyard they once jointly owned.
Jolie’s lawyer James Simon told People: ‘More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.
‘This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.’

The source stated: ‘Jen would love Brad to be happy first and foremost as she believes he is happy… Angelina is not a talking point between them and that will remain the same forever’
Although the split was acrimonious, a source close to Jolie added: ‘She doesn’t speak ill of [Pitt] publicly or privately. She’s been trying hard to be light after a dark time.’
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016 after just two years of marriage.
The move came just days after a journey on a private plane in which Angelina claimed Brad was abusive to her and their six children but authorities did not charge him after investigating.
Jolie and Pitt later released a joint statement declaring that they would keep all divorce proceedings private for the sake of their children.
They said: ‘The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues.
‘The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification.’
The former couple share children Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 18, and twins Vivienne and Knox, now 16.
Since their parents’ bitter split, Zahara, Shiloh and Vivienne has all dropped Pitt from their last name.

Pitt has been linked to jewelry designer Ines de Ramon November 2022 and the pair reportedly live together in the same house in the Los Angeles area
It has been reported that Maddox and Pax do not talk to their father – while it is believed that Knox and Vivienne still confer with the Fight Club star, though they have not been pictured with him in several years.
While the former power couple have finally settled their divorce, there is still the ongoing battle over Château Miraval vineyard in France, which is considered one of the country’s top wine producers.
Pitt and Jolie have been locked in a bitter legal battle over Miraval after Pitt alleged Jolie sold her $62 million stake of the winery to the Stoli Group, famed for its Stolichnaya vodka, without his approval.
Both sides have said they would be willing to take the Miraval case to a jury trial or mediation, a source told told DailyMail.com.
The insider with knowledge of the situation added Jolie has ‘been trying hard to be light after a dark time.’
‘She doesn’t speak ill of him publicly or privately,’ the insider said. ‘The kids have grown up seeing that some people have so much power and privilege that their voices don’t matter. Their pain doesn’t count.’
The insider continued: ‘They have wanted her to speak up for herself, to defend herself over these years but she reminds them to focus on changing laws over telling public stories.’
Pitt has since been dating Los Angeles based jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, 34, for almost two years.
The pair were initially seen spending time with one another during a November 2022 Bono concert.
The two are believed to now live together, and Pitt is even considering marriage once more.

Ines reportedly takes these precautions to avoid giving the actor any impression that she’s using their relationship to gain fame.
Now the actor is said to be looking to share his future with the brunette beauty as another source stated in early December: ‘Brad is interested in getting married again, and it is all thanks to Ines.
‘The thing about her is that he is so comfortable with her that it just feels right with her, and he would be more than OK to make it official.’
The source noted that Ines even has the seal of approval from Brad’s close circle as they continued: ‘He has spoken to those close to him, including George, and everyone has signed off on him doing it, it would be a nice thing for him as it would be the official moving on from his romantic past with [Jennifer Aniston] and Angie.
‘That is obviously in everyone’s mind and will always be forever in the minds of millions, but it is Ines and her no nonsense nature that has finally been the person to settle down with.’
The source even teased that an engagement will likely take place in the New Year as they stated: ‘It is time and 2025 at some point is going to be the moment he will get engaged to her.’
