The plush private jetliner used by Jeffrey Epstein to whisk his VIP associates around the globe will be torn apart and scrapped, DailyMail.com has exclusively learned.

The notorious Boeing 727 – nicknamed the ‘Lolita Express’ – hasn’t flown since 2016 and is racking up thousands of dollars in storage fees each year as it sits mothballed beside a Georgia runway.

Florida-based World Aviation Services paid an undisclosed sum for the decades-old tri-jet in March 2020 hoping to turn a profit or use the parts for a similar cargo aircraft in its fleet.

But after learning about the plane’s central role in Epstein’s sex trafficking empire, the company’s shocked boss has abandoned any hopes of finding a buyer and will instead strip it down for anything of value.

‘When I bought the plane I didn’t know who he was or what he did with it,’ the businessman told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview.

‘My business is aviation – not this Epstein s**t. Of course, I wasn’t happy,’

As of December, there were just 35 Boeing 727s in service across the world, primarily serving as freighters, charter jets or military planes for countries including Colombia, Mexico and Burkina Faso.

A handful have been turned into novelty homes, glamping accommodation and even a hotel, with disused models selling at auction for as little as $2,000.

But in four years there hasn’t been a single offer for Epstein’s 54-year-old plane which once transported the likes of Bill Clinton, Britain’s Prince Andrew and actor Kevin Spacey, according to flight logs.

‘It will cost a lot of money to restore. There’s always crazy people out there but I just don’t see it,’ added the current owner, asking to remain anonymous for fear of reprisals.

‘It’s a rare plane. There are not too many of them flying around the world today. There is a lot of stuff in there that you can’t find on the market anymore – avionics, landing gear, windows, flaps.

‘I can recoup my money, I’m not that worried about it.’

Federal aviation records still list its owner as Delaware-based JEGE Inc., which is named in several lawsuits as a company linked to the 66-year-old financier, who hanged himself in August 2019 while awaiting trial.

DailyMail.com understands that the records are out of date, however, and that it’s changed hands several times since 2016.

Call sign N908JE took its final flight on July 11 of that year, taking off from Palm Beach International Airport at 11:39am and landing at Georgia’s Brunswick Golden Isles Airport 51 minutes later.

Since then, it’s been parked up near a maintenance hangar owned by Stambaugh Aviation, an independent jet maintenance firm which charges around $1,000 a month in storage fees.

It’s been unregistered since 2019, meaning it cannot be legally flown, a moot point since its three Pratt & Whitney engines were stripped and sold after it arrived in Georgia.

DailyMail.com first located the dormant jet in 2020, when we found the once-plush interior, including deep-pile carpets, throw blankets and fluffy pillows, infested with mold and mildew.

There were numerous creepy pointers to its notorious former occupant, including a garish red couch, mirrored walls, monogrammed tissues and a bottle of baby lotion stored in a wood-paneled bathroom.

Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre has filed various lawsuits against the pedophile and his jailed madam Ghislaine Maxwell, claiming she was recruited as a 15-year-old ‘sex slave’ and forced to ‘entertain’ a string of VIPs on board the jet.

She has settled cases with Prince Andrew and Alan Dershowitz, admitting last year that she might have ‘made a mistake’ when she accused the Harvard law professor.

But many more prominent Epstein pals have now been unmasked after previously sealed documents in the Maxwell lawsuit were made public Wednesday.

That suit was settled in 2017 but New York federal judge Loretta Preska ruled last month that the documents should finally be made public in January.

The process was thrown into chaos Wednesday when ‘Jane Doe 107’, a woman who claims she will be in danger in her ‘culturally conservative country if she’s unmasked, was granted 30 days to appeal the decision.

But Dershowitz, who negotiated a notoriously lenient 2008 plea deal when the warped financier was first accused of abusing girls in Florida, is among those calling for the names to be revealed.

‘I want everything out, every document, every piece of paper, half-truths or lies, and I wanted them out for personal reasons because I know that they would prove what I’ve said from day one, that I did nothing wrong, and the woman who accused me later admitted that she may have misidentified me, confused me with someone else,’ he told NewsNation.

‘There are some people who may be ashamed of the fact that they hung out with Epstein but remember a lot of people hung out with Epstein before he was convicted.’
