Jason Kelce angrily slammed a fan’s phone to the ground after they called his brother Travis a ‘f*****’ for dating Taylor Swift.

The older Kelce brother and recently retired NFL star was at Penn State on Saturday for the school’s huge college football game against Ohio State.

Footage posted to social media shows Kelce walking through a crowd outside the stadium with a crate of beer in his hands.

As fans lined up for selfies and fist bumps, an unidentifiable male voice can be heard shouting: ‘Hey Kelce! How does it feel your brother is a f***** for dating Taylor Swift?’

Kelce continues walking momentarily after the homophobic slur before turning around, grabbing the fan’s phone and proceeding to furiously slam it down into the ground before picking it up and walking away.

But, as he continued to walk off, the fan chased Kelce and said ‘give me my phone’ to which Kelce replied: ‘Who’s the f***** now?’

It is unclear whether the phone belonged to the male who made the disparaging comment about Kansas City Chiefs star Travis.

The sound of the phone smashing the floor prompted audible jeers from those around them.

Kelce, who is now an analyst for ESPN, was instantly praised on social media though, with one fan saying: ‘This is exactly how trolls should be handled in real life’.

Another called Kelce ‘an icon’ while one slammed the fan for ‘looking for trouble and intentionally wanting to illicit a reaction.’

Kelce, a Super Bowl winner, is something of a cult hero in football after his illustrious 13-year career in the NFL and his booze-fueled antics.

He is regularly among fans at football games without trouble and has enjoyed boozy tailgates on numerous occasions.

Kelce’s response is indicative of how close the brothers are, however.

Their relationship is at the core of their smash-hit New Heights podcast and Jason regularly supports his younger brother at Chiefs games and major events.

Jason has also been to a number of Swift’s Eras Tour shows – both with Travis and his own young family – as they have embraced the popstar ever since her relationship with Travis became public knowledge in 2023.

‘She’s awesome, a down to earth and genuine person which has been great to see when somebody of that caliber and stardom remains as grounded as she has,’ Jason said back in February.

Kelce had a rude awakening earlier on Saturday when he hilariously missed a field goal just weeks after slamming NFL kickers.

He was invited to take part in Pat McAfee’s famous kicking contest at Penn State on ESPN’s College Game Day show.

McAfee, a former NFL kicker with the Indianapolis Colts, challenges a fan to make a kick every week in exchange for a cash prize.

Last month, on the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast, Jason demanded NFL goal posts be narrowed because kickers are having too much influence on games.

In response, McAfee challenged the Philadelphia Eagles legend to try and make a kick in exchange for a $100,000 donation to the hurricane relief fund.

Wearing Timberland boots, Kelce toe punted his effort way to the left of the posts.

McAfee then gave him a second opportunity but Kelce was again way off target in front of hundreds of fans. He hilariously admitted afterwards: ‘I suck at kicking’.
