Jamie Laing has revealed his ‘whole body is in agony’ amid his gruelling Ultra Marathons challenge for Comic Relief.

The BBC Radio 1 presenter, 36, has now reached an incredible £500,000 in donations for Comic Relief.

On Friday, Jamie will complete his 150-mile, five-day run from London to Salford for Comic Relief.

But on Thursday, the former Made In Chelsea star admitted to The Sun: ‘My whole body is in agony. The donations are the only thing pushing me through. I can’t believe the support.’

At the end of day four, an exhausted Jamie fell to the ground before wife Sophie Habboo comforted him.

Jamie threw up during day four of his brutal Ultra Marathons challenge on Thursday and was seen on the road with paramedics.

Reaching £500,000 in donations means that Greg James will be joining him for a run on Friday, wearing in a wedding dress.

Jamie’s penultimate route saw him run from Kegworth, through Belper and Derby, before finishing in Matlock.

Speaking after completing his third day on Wednesday evening, he said: ‘That was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life, hands down.

‘There was a point today where we were about halfway, 25 kilometres, in and I just didn’t think I had it. That was it. I was done.’

He continued: ‘But it was amazing to run into the crowd at Loughborough, it was incredible – and for Oli and Soph to surprise me today, I couldn’t believe it.

‘Everything is quite overwhelming at the moment – I’m a broken man right now and although my body is seizing up and I’m mentally drained and scared about tomorrow, somehow it is still a good feeling. We go again!’

It was revealed by Matt on Thursday morning that this total donations had been topped, reaching a whopping £510,000 and sending Jamie into tears.

Jamie will be joined by friend and former Made In Chelsea co-star JP (Josh Patterson), who will provide some much-needed moral support along the way for his final run.

The money raised for Radio 1’s Ultra Marathon Man with Jamie for Red Nose Day will provide vital funds that could help put food on plates and roofs over heads, keep little ones safe and help support families affected by conflict here in the UK and around the world.

Jamie has set expectations high after completing day one of the ultra marathon in an impressive 5hours and 44minutes and burned over 4,000 calories.

Overcome with emotion after finishing day three, Jamie embraced his friend Proudlock.

Speaking to Jamie, Proudlock said: ‘You’ve got this. I’m so proud of you, mate. It’s a rare sight to see you cry.’

He added: ‘You’ve got me, I mean I cry a lot – seeing that video earlier of you two when you started welling up, I was crying on the train up here.

‘Dude I can tell how hard it is, but you’re doing it mate, you’re crushing it.

‘There have been so many times over the last fifteen years where I’ve been so proud of you and this right here is number one. I’ve never been prouder. Never.’

Radio 1’s Ultra Marathon Man with Jamie Laing for Red Nose Day will be broadcast live on Radio 1 and BBC Sounds across the week, with video highlights on Radio 1’s social channels.

The charity challenge comes days after Jamie revealed he had been robbed again, just a week after his West London home was nearly burgled.

Jamie and his wife Sophie were woken up at 6am to loud bangs as balaclava-wearing intruders tried to break into their home.

Following the terrifying ordeal, Jamie was subjected to another attempted robbery as someone broke into his car outside his home.

Speaking on his Radio 1 show, Jamie said: ‘So, I live in London, I was with my wife Sophie and we went to get in our car.

‘It’s parked around the place we live, and it’s London right, things maybe go missing occasionally or whatever.

‘I walked up to the car, and the car looked a little bit funny, the door was slightly open, and I was like, “hang on a second, has someone managed to get into the car?”

‘Came up to the car and we had been robbed.

‘They left the pineapple in one seat and the melon in another seat.

‘I said to my wife, “did you leave these in the car?” and she was like, “no?”, so I don’t know if it’s a sign or the mark they leave.’

The Made In Chelsea stars used to rent in Chelsea before moving out of the area after buying a family home in Notting Hill last year.

Speaking about their home invasion on their Newly Weds podcast, Jamie admitted he was ‘butt naked’ when he heard loud noises and leapt into action.

'There was a point today where we were about halfway, 25 kilometres, in and I just didn't think I had it. That was it. I was done,' he added

‘At 5:45 am, I heard this boom, boom, boom, and I was like, “What the hell is that?”‘ he said. ‘Sophie was still fast asleep next to me. So I got up, completely naked, and went downstairs to check.

‘I looked out the front of our apartment – nothing. No delivery, no people, completely dark. But then I went to our sitting room and looked out the window.

‘I always sleep with the window open, and I suddenly saw someone trying to break into the flat below, wearing a balaclava.

‘I thought I would go full Rambo mode, but instead, I just panicked and started going, ‘Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God!’

Jamie quickly called the police, to which he added: ‘I asked them how long the response time was, if we needed to get out of the house.

‘I was freaking out. I even went downstairs and lay down against our front door, using my whole body as a human door wedge.’
